Harley Benton G212 Celestion V30 5-stars Reviews
Best deal ever
Sounds great, very well built and solid. I should have bought the 4x12. Maybe next time
Awesome for the price!
I've bought both the slanted and straight version of this cab, and I think that the quality versus price can't be beaten.
I've used it both for playing live, at rehearsals and at home, and they work awesomely in all settings.
The cabs are well made, slightly heavy - and not flimsy.
The sound quality is awesome, and you get Celestion V30's!
The cabs work both for high-gain uses and clean sounds as well.
Will buy again!
2nd cabinet to complete setup
I had one already and after many years of playing it I decided to go for a second one to complete a 2 x 212 setup stereo. These are simply great cabs for Metal. They are darker than Mesa and Engls with V30s, and maybe a bit more scooped, especially comparing to Engls. However, that not a bad thing if you want to chug. I actually prefer them to my Engls with V30s and I would never pay the Mesa crazy moneys despite I use Mesa stuff most of the time. A simply exceptional cab which BTW records great as well. If I want to mention a negative, they might be a bit more quiet on their signal through an SM57 comparing to my Engls. That is.
Best money for price
Thats a very good prise for 2 selestion vintage speakers. In my country only speakers would cost about 200 euros. Used it about a year. Im very satisfied with it.
Beautiful Cabinet Delivered from Germany to USA in 3 Days
I purchased this cabinet because of a video review I saw on youtube by Philip McKnight. I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was delivered all the way from Germany to my house in New Mexico, USA in just 3 days! The cabinet is flawless, beautifully made, and sounds amazing! I am totally pleased with this purchase and plan on using this cabinet probably the rest of my life. If you are considering ordering one don't hesitate because this is one heck of a deal.
Great cab with celestion 30's for this price!
I mean if you would want to buy 2 celestion speakers it would cost as much as this cabinet.
Overall great cab, great sound, no complaints.
solid
this cab is built like a tank and the v30s sound great
Great cab for no money
+This cab is really cool. Comparing to expensive brands, it stands quite well. There is saying if the hardware is heavy, the producer didn't try to save money. Well, seems this cab is something like that.
-Of course 2x12 is not 4x12. You cannot have the same "space" in the sound like in bigger cab. But for practicing with band, even on stage probably is worth the money.
Really really good
I've been eying this cab for a while and actually planned to buy one for shows that all got cancelled due to covid. After a few months I bought the cab anyway and I am really impressed. I borroughed a Orange cab with V30s before this and I would say they are equally good but the Orange is so expensive! The only thing I dont like is the look of the tolex but thats not really important. It sounds just great with my Blackstar HT-100. Cant wait to play shows again!
great cab
sounds great i love it and shipped very quickly
Finally A Serious Value For Money Product!
I was a little hesitant myself about the quality of the Harley Benton range as you know the old saying "You get what you pay for" but I have to say I have been blown away by the quality of this speaker cab, the sound is huge from it and it makes playing the guitar an absolute joy. Build quality great for the cost and it looks the part.
Awesome product
What more can I say...great tone, well made.
I`m using it with Bugera g20 for gigs and rehearsal...more than enough volume and light enough for easy transportaion.
I recomend!
I wanted some V30's
The speakers are fantastic and I love them! The cabinet could have been made better and the finish is not brilliant. However, I bought this aware of those negatives and the price is affordable for me as it is my first cab. The negatives are not so bad for me, if you take a step back from the cab then you will not really notice the finish and a few more steps back and this cab looks great under my amp head. Until the cab breaks there is no need for me to look at another cab, the V30 speakers are what I wanted and that's what I got. If you are on a tight budget like me you will not regret buying this cab. If you can afford more and want a brand name then go for something more expensive.
Excellent
Great cabinet, I use it together with DV Mark Multimap - excellent sound, yet quite light! Perfect for gigs in small medium stages
Way better than I expected !!
When I saw the reviews and all the marketing for this "budget vintage 30 cab" I was skeptical. But after it arrived I knew that it was the real deal. The construction quality could ne a little better that is correct and the sound does vary from say, a Mesa, but the very fair amount of good tone that you get for the prize is unbeatable. Fair to say that I am really happy with this purchase and I will play the absolute hell out of this cab!
Does what it says on the box
awesome value for money and great sound. tick all the boxes i need.
I mean come on!
Vintage 30's in a cheap cab! How do you do it Harley? It's not too good to be true!
What else do you want from a 2x12
Exactly as advertised. Two Celestion Vintage 30's, in a poplar plywood cab. The poplar plywood is decent enough for its intended purpose, no cracks or warping. The V30's are made in China but if that bothers you than dont buy this cab. They sound perfectly fine in my opinion and I play a little bit of everything from metal to funk, and have no issues with any of my tones. The black tolex is no different than any other cab same quality as a "higher" end cab, though can be damaged in shipping. (blame ups not the manufacturer ) Mono/Stereo input which is a welcome addition, as well as the metal carrying handles on either side of the cab. The front grill is as expected no issues.
Pros: As advertised, good build quality, sounds great.
Cons: Only one I can think of is how UPS decides they want to treat it during shipping.
If your debating, why? Two Vintage 30's in a well build cab housing for $230 USD with mono/stereo selection , amazing deal.
The best cab for the price
Absolutely amazing sound from the Celestion speakers and incredibly well built! For the price, a lot less is expected but Harley Benton really outdid themselves with this one.
There's only one con I think of and it's a matter of personal preference, I'd prefer a metal grid over the speakers rather than a cloth sheet.
How do they do it for the price
Very pleased with the speaker cabinet. The vintage thirty's sound great. I have researched online and i would pay nearly this price for the speakers alone. Happy man.
