He Was Wrong

Growing up, Grand Pappy always said, "Timmy - If it sounds to good to be true, it's because it isn't."

I saw the reviews. I saw the YouTube videos... but I couldn't believe it. Finally... After months went by, I ordered the cab expecting disappointment.

Within days, a well built, Vintage Celestion loaded cabinet showed up at my house. And it sounds unbelievable!

Grand Pappy was wrong.

It took 50 years, but it happened. Something that sounded to good to be true, really is true!

Fantastic Sound at an Affordable Price

Chances are if you are looking at this Cab, you have went through various online reviews and videos. Short story, get it. You will not be disappointed. I have used it with a few heads and the response with the cab has been way better than other brands. Great constructions, nicely voiced speakers. Amazing 2x12 cab.

I pair mine with the PRS MT15 and it sounds amazing for metal and hard rock.

Price !

I use this cab with a Bugera 1960 ( 150 watt ) head with a metal zone in front. This cab is really well built, has everything you need , Equipped with: 2x 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers

Power rating: 120 W at 8 Ohm or 2 x 60 W at 16 Ohm

Inputs: 2x 6.3 mm jack

Mono / stereo switchable. Whatever rig your used to this can do the job. But the main thing is the price. really, you can't even buy the speakers for this price. and if you're worried about the speakers being made in china . just check out youtube and mesa cabs. the speakers are made in China in most cases. Great sounding cab. Great price

Feel the noise

An absolute bargain in terms of price/performance. I needed a speaker cab for a Laney Ironheart Studio and after some research, took a chance on this one. It sounds very good indeed, at least for my main styles of classic rock and fuzzed-out doom, easily giving me enough volume to make the windows shake and cause disputes with the neighbours! I haven't gigged with it so can't comment on its longevity or hardiness, though I don't foresee any obvious issues that couldn't affect any other cab without a metal grille.

In short, brilliant value for money. Don't forget your speaker cable!

Excellent 2x12

Those looking to Gig with a lighter setup (say from a 4x12) should look into this nice 2x12. Loaded with vintage 30’s, excellent build quality (save for the tolex which is rather thin and scratches easily), should seriously buy. Add some feet On the side and you have a vertical 2x12. Used on a couple of live shows and sounds great with high gain amps like a Peavey 6505 or a Laney Ironheart.

Excellent cabinet for 200€!!

I've been use my laney vh100r and peavey 5150 like Linde from (HIM )now Flat Earth :D

Linde's sound is Chug!

I must say this is a very good cabinet for this price !

my conclusion: If you have a low budge for 2x12 Celestion Vintage 30 this is totally worth it so don't hesitate boys and girls! :)

Nice guitar cab

I think the Harley Benton G212 Vintage is a good guitar cabinet. You can argue about the sound. Everyone has their own opinion about this. But the quality of the product is very good. The body is made of thick plywood but not MDF! I 've no found no one part made of MDF there. The front grille, Tolex covering, seams, emblems - everything is neat and smooth. And finally... the price! I paid for G212+delivery+customs clearance, and it turned out two and a half times cheaper than cheapest no brand cab with 2 x Celestion Vintage 30 in my city.

great value

A steal for the price even if you dont like the speakers.

The construction is pretty solid imo.

Downside is the fact that its just a horizontal 2x12, meaning its a very directional sound that really needs a stand to at least angle it up towards your ears instead of ankles.

Obviously not as wide or big sounding as a 4x12 with nowhere near the low end of a 4x12.

Also the v30 speakers sound extremely harsh and ear piercing at higher band volumes compared to my other cab with g12 speakers, probably need a long break in time

Not a huge fan of v30 but this cab is well worth it just to sell off the speakers if you dont like them

First cab purchase

This is the first cab I've purchased. After hours and hours and hours of research I decided this would be the best purchase I could make. Not at all expensive especially when compared to some of the more affordable 2x12s by Blackstar and Marshall. This one is not only far less expensive, it also comes with more expensive speakers. From what I've read, people like the Celestion V30s a lot more than whatever the other budget 2x12s some installed with.

When it arrived, the box was very beat up. I was expecting the cab to be trashed. The tolex on the top front edge was dented. I see no other damage to the cabinet. It is a little disappointing to see this sort of damage that could have been avoided with angled styrofoam or that hard angled cardboard. Even a second box inside the first would have been a welcome sight. Regardless, it arrived and it works.

I use this with an Orange Crush Pro 120. I have very little experience playing through anything more than a practice amp. I had a late 70s solid state Peavey amp which was killing my enthusiasm because I just couldn't achieve the tone I had in my head. With this cab and the CR120 I not only can sound the way I want, I can achieve tones I never even thought I'd like. It's very inspiring, very loud, sounds amazing.

If I ever buy another cab it will most likely be another one of these. Stick them next to each other and get def.

Perfect cab for at home and live

I bought this for my first real cab after owning combos and only borrowing full amps. i am not dissapointed i used to borrow a orange 2x12 with vintage 30s and i cannot tell the difference at all and i am using an orange crush pro 120 head and its just perfect i love it.

Best Value Per Dollar, bar none!!

Love this little box of thunder. Sounds absolutely killer with both my Marshall DSL 100 and/or my Traynor Custom Special 100 running through it. Really shines with a high gain signal thumping out of it, but also delivers very pristine glassy cleans. For the price, I cannot say enough good things about this cabinet.

Great cabinet

I have bought this cabinet because I wanted to change the speakers on my Bugera 333 XL (combo) with two Celestion V30, but it is far more advantageous to buy this cabinet instead. So I turned the combo amp into a head, so that I could save some space.

This cabinet can deliver huge power, but also detail. The clean tones are far better than they were with the Jensen/Bugera speakers: perfectly clean, more present and with a lot of body. The crunch and distorted tones are open and rich. I have also tried it with my Mesa Rectoverb: the sound is again more open, but I generally prefer the Black Shadow speaker with which the Mesa is equipped.

After almost a year I still can't find cons about this cabinet.

It's just great

Everyone has said everything already about this cab and at this price it's impossible to question anything.

I've only used this so far for practising at home and pair it with my EVH 5150iii EL34 50w head and the sound is just perfect. Will be using in the studio as soon as lockdown allows. I just can't find anything negative to say about it.

Will be purchasing a second cab for sure.
