Harley Benton MT100 Reviews
Perfect
It has a lot of tunings to choose from and is very useful for beginners.
Excellent Value
I got it in the bundle and you can't beat that price :)
Plus:
Price
It is very accurate.
Size. It is light, handy and fast.
Easy to use to.
Clip is good and stays in it's place good.
Comes with a battery ready to go.
Display with a backlight.
Negatives:
Although good enough it does not look like it would take nice collision with drum set or microphone stand and tbh is not designed to be like that.
Display contrast and viewing angle is poor even with full battery.
Display backlight is strong and might be just bit to strong for a dark stage. On other side for some applications it might be exactly what you need.
Useful Tuner
It works as it should, although as with most clip on tuners, it's susceptible to background noise which can make tuning at gigs difficult. It works well for guitars but not so well on basses
Mmm
A sign of bad design is if you can't work it out easily. Never looked at it again.
Great tuner but keep an eye on the foam pads
This is a great tuner with several other features built in, but keep an eye on the foam pads. I failed to notice that one had fallen off at some point until I spotted some nasty scratches to the head stocks of several new guitars, all of which happened to be gloss black which made things worse. Aside for that mishap I would recommend this tuner.
Plural, but not accurate
Being the Tune the most important thing on a Tuner, this model does not help with proper accuracy.
Cheap and cheerful
Works fine, costs very little and tells you when your guitar's in tune.
Wish they'd existed when I started learning in 1968
Great Little Tuner
Perfect to toss in a case. It's amazingly versatile, too; I can use it on my violin, my guitars, and my basses, as it has settings for all. The built in metronome and tone generator are icing on the cake. Good little tuner.
Till now I didn't find any fault in it - both tuner and metronome work perfectly. And for that price, it's a great choice.
A nice tuner
I bought this tuner for a friend that gigs both with an electric and a classical guitar and he is very satisfied.
The tuner is very easy to use and can adapt to a variety of headstocks, apart from that of a guitar.
Overall, it is a tuner you can carry with you and not be afraid whether you lose is or not - but still you will be in tune.
Awesome!
Well made, for this price you can?t go wrong with the tuner! Totally recommend!
bought it twice...
I had one of these for 5-6 years but unfortunately I lost it. I was always happy with it so I immediately ordered another. Recommended.
RIG
The best Music store in EU:D
Superb!
Great tuner, also has a metronome etc
Solid made ,clip on and good for tuning/intonation.
Only complaint is it can be a bit fiddly when changing feature to feature.
good quality product. I used it for tuning my trumpet.
Harley Benton MT100
Great little tuner, easy to use and so easy to up. Realy liked the metronome and the way you can change the settings. The read out is easy to see and bright enough to be easily visible in low and glary lighting (with no reflections on the screen. Just clip it in to your head stock press the power button and away you go. Unfortunatley it doesn't pick up the high E on my HB SC-450 BK so well, seems to dither about being unsure what string your plucking and seems to prefer the low E. Why ? may be better suited to an acoustic rather than an electric. other than that i would have given it four stars. its well made and sturdy looking for its size.
T D good service and very helpful.
Good stuff
I use this tuner for a double bass.
Great for the price. Sufficient quality.
Lot of features but I use it only to tune the bass.
Its double sensor (microphone or vibration) is very useful in noisy environments.
All guitarists should have this
I absolutely love this thing - easy to read, accurate tuning and able to be carried around in your pocket.
I use this for assisting with setups but also just keep it on myheadstock at practises. Awesome.
good item !
good gadget for the price. simple to use and straightforward
Tuner/metronome
This is a good pocket tuner. It can be used either by vibration (I use it on a Pearl flute) or microphone.
The battery life is very good.
Learning to use all its features requires a brief browse through the manual; it's simple to use and intuitive.
