great strings
i really like the Harley enton strings because of there price and because of how good they are compared to more expensive brands. i have these on my sixties semi acoustic which is my favorite guitar and i wouldn't have the strings on there if they weren't good !!
Awesome value
For a buck, these are probably the best strings I've ever used. While they might not compete quality wise, but they sure do make up for it in sheer numbers. Just buy a pack or twelve. Who cares, they're practically free.
If you're on a budget, don't hesitate. Order these by the bucketload and you'll always have spares if you run out of your favourite brand.
Human made strings for a whistle and a song
Well, let me put it this way: There may be shinier, better, more evolved, and more durable strings out in the world, but the price/usability ratio tells me that it is these that the doctor ordered. So I usually order piles of them, wanting never to notice that I am fresh out of guitar strings. The 10 set is thick enough for crunchy power chords & raunchy rock riffs AND then for some delish Tele twang. So these are my everyday work horse strings. And when the horse is dead, I just chunk out the old ropes and put on new ones, no flogging needed.
Incredible price, decent strings
I usually use heavier strings. I bought these to experiment a little, and also bought some sets of 11s.
I have always found that strings deteriorate very quickly, no matter how carefully I wash my hands before playing. I found that changing strings as often as I would like was prohibitively expensive.
This is true no longer! At less than £1 Sterling a set, I can change my strings as often as I like...
Tone is important to me, but I don't believe that something needs to be more expensive to sound better. They sound absolutely fine on my home-assembled kit Stratocaster through my Bugera V5.
It's possible that they wear out slightly quicker than other brands, but they are so much cheaper that it simply doesn't matter.
The only fault I can find is that I can't buy the same brand strings for a similar price in gauge 12.
Love these
These strings are great, you can buy several sets for the price of one set of the bigger brands. Quality is great, can't really go wrong with these at all
Tried almost everything...
At first bought those string with a little suspicion - is it possible that strings so cheap can make good sound? Yes! Sounding similar to D'Addario stings (my previous 1st choice), but costing less than euro!
Best for the price
Not too heavy, not too light. Very good quality. Great tone for the price but they obviously don't sound as good as strings that are 10 times the price. For the price these strings can't be beaten.
Can't beat them for the price.
At this price you can afford to change your strings more often and get that brand new fresh string feeling and sound. While they may not last quite as long as an expensive brands in my opinion there isn't much in it. Stock up on these and you can have that new string sound more often.
Quality string
Iuse these strings on a number of my guitars they are great quality for the price would recommend these
Harley Benton strings
These strings are excellent quality there no different to any other strings,im not into brand names an plus there expensive..if your lookin for quality guitar strings these are perfect :
AS good as ANY other string make!
I almost exclusively use these strings now! They are great! at 10% of the price of a "decent" pack of strings I expected them to be dreadful but good for emergancies! How wrong I was! I now string all 4 of my electric guitars with these! They also are MORE durable than other strings I have used! I have a guitar with a bigsby and I rag them around constantly and they stay strong!
