Really neat strings.

While they might not have that superclear clarity when brand new as expensive strings they certainly are more than good enough and sound really nice. I gladly spend 1 ? for these.

Excellent quality - crazy good price

Having a fine collection of guitars (just need the one more :) it costs a packet to keep them in strings, so I tend to look at anything that is cheaper just to see what they are like. Noticing the Harley Benton ones for such a crazy cheap price, I bought a set of each size to try them out.

This set, the 11s, were the first I tried on my Les Paul, which has a Bigsby on it. Out of the packet they are quite 'bendy' and I must admit I was a little concerned, but once they were on the snapped beautifully into place and had that wonderful new string sound in spades.

For the price then, they are excellent. They feel great and sound great, and to be totally honest no different from the brands I normally buy. I'll be stocking up.

Harley benton 11s

Like all Harley Benton strings these are medium quality but the best value you can get for your money. The thing I like most about this set is that they are slightly thicker on the bottom end than most 11 sets, giving more even tension, and tighter low notes; this is the perfect set for anyone wanting to play some stevie ray vaughan. I have had to get my deluxe american fender stratocaster re setup as the g and b string were binding just a bit with heavy tremolo use, more than worth it though in my opinion. These also take a tiny bit longer to stretch in than the 9s, but I much prefer the tonality of thicker strings.

Good strings at at an unbelievable price

When I spotted these I thought it would be rude not to give them a shot given their price, they must be the cheapest strings I have ever seen. I was surprised at the chose of gauges given their asking price. They are packaged in the typical heady duty plastic bag and each string is individually packaged in a sealed plastic bag.

They are well made with no manufacturing flaws apparent on the sets I ordered. When playing, I would say about 90% of the tone of the ?big? brands is there ? my only criticism is that the wound strings feel a little rough compared to other more expensive brands. However at this price they are so cheap you can easily afford a new set every time you gig!

One For Jazzmaster Players

I'm sure they work as well on other guitars, but if you are a Jazzmaster player and suffer from the usual popping-out-of-the-bridge problems, you might be tempted to spend large on a Mastery that looks like it fell off a BMX or less, but still plenty on a Staytrem replacement. Both would work perfectly and you would be happy.

However, for the price of a euro you could instead go with what nature intended and put a set of these Harley Benton 11s on, and see the problem disappear.

Now don't get me wrong, other people make 11s and they would work fine too, but I don't think I've come across strings that are so cheap and yet as good quality as your Ernies, Rotos and the rest.

So if you are a Jazzmaster player, or indeed just want to try a cheap set of strings that are better than they ought to be, give these a go.

Bargain

Although these strings may not be the best quality, they are unbelievable for their price. A must buy for any regular player. Every player needs back up strings and there are no better than these.

Good value

These represent good value for bedroom practice sessions, beginners guitars, etc.

Obviously at this price point, tone & longevity are less than more premium strings out there, but a good place to start & hone your skills on a budget.

basic and acceptable

I'm one of those annoying people that suffer from sweaty hands. I rust through strings like nobody's business. These strings from HB are great. I can change them often, they don't last as long as an expensive set but I change them often anyway. Good bright tone, would be nice if they were coated a little more, but totally acceptable for any gigging artist.

Bargain Strings

I wasn't really needing any strings but the price of these made me want to give them a go, so far there's not much difference between these and "high end" strings, obviously for recording/professional use it's probably still better to spend the extra on better strings but for jamming/demo/practice purposes these fill the price point for throw around strings so to speak or even as a budget backup pack for gigs

Bought some of these alongside some 10's to run in a light top/heavy bottom set. Very good value strings and I've no complaints about sound and have had zero breakages so far (more than I can say for some other MAJOR string brands!)

As good as the slimmer gauges...

I don't use 11 gauge - I use 10s, but I have obtained this gauge for friends and other musicians and they always come back asking if I can get some more - and it's not because the top E has broken straight away! I know I'm repeating myself, but that difficult balancing act between quality/reliability and affordability has once more been achieved.

Strings

People can say whatever they want about how cheap strings not sounding as good as expensive ones but I've tried ernie ball, D'Addario and all the rest of them and I cannot honestly tell a massive difference in them strings and these strings.

They where well packed up and had the numbers of what strings they were on them which is helpfull for beginners and I never seen or felt any dings or anything in the strings which I have done from other manufactures.

Overall very good strings and for the price I can get like 4 sets for the price of regular ernie balls.

Good Value

These Strings are okay for the price. They are not too bright and they sound much worse than the D'Darrio but for the price I can't complain. I use them to replace broken Strings until I replace the whole set.

The USA version are much better but I still recommend this for backup purposes.

Valuestrings

The strings are super backup for this price. I have ordered a set for guitarists. When winding the thin e string here unfortunately the clenching demolished .. the others strings sound very balanced. you can buy it for this price i hope the other thin e strings will last longer .

the strings sound frightening better than expected for the price. .

for this price the not must hold forever, you could switch all four or five jam sessions, when you like to play always fresh strings.

I will make an update when I order the next time these strings.

Good strings for a great price

Of course you don't get perfect strings for that price. If you care about every detail in your guitar sound these strings might not be for you. But that doesn't mean that they don't have a decent sound. I found them to be a very good alternative if you need to save money or break strings a lot (which I do at times). Perhaps the most important disadvantage is the durability: First they need some time to sound not too new anymore and afterwards they soon sound old. That means that if you want the strings to always sound best you have to change them a lot.

cant go wrong for the value

cant go wrong for the value.

at these prices i was very doubios to say the least. ohh how wrong can you be i cant tell difference between these and ernie balls.

deffeite no brainer next time 1 set ernie balls or 6 sets of these bad boys.

EDIT : AFTER USING FOR A YEAR.

after using this brand of string now for a year or more now, i seriously cant see any reason to use anything else. why pay alot more for the branded stuff when these do the job the same. they last superbly and sound lovley and clear. i havent broke one string at all in over a year and i play very heavy handedly. i chagne strings once every month or 2 on whaterver are my main goto guitars at the time are. and others colud be sat for months and still sound superb when i pick em up.

Deffenitly a no brainer for me now these are the string of choice from now on.

GREAT FOR THE MONEY

These are extremely cheap to buy, but can match a lot of other brands who charge 10x the amount of these, they last as long as you would expect any strings to and the sound from them is not far off strings going over £15/£20, great buy if you go through strings as quick as me
