Harley Benton Valuestrings EL 11-52 Reviews
You might want to order a set or twelve
Pure awesomeness for the money. Works great from D-standard to E-standard (if you're looking for that extra tight and chimey sound).
Even if they're not as good as more expensive brands (which can be arguable), you're still getting a bargain with such prices. Just great all around!
Incredible!
For this price, how can you go wrong? I bought twenty sets, and don't regret it for one minute.
My strings have always seemed to deteriorate very quickly -- they get dirty and sound dull quite quickly, no matter how carefully I wash and dry my hands before I play. I don't use any fretboard cleaning products, as I find they feel too slippery. I have tried various brands. I found that Elixirs are the most resilient, but they are very expensive. They used to cost me more than £10 Sterling a set.
Also, I do a lot of tinkering with my guitars -- I am always re-wiring and modifying them in various ways. This often means re-stringing the guitar, so I would have to wait until the strings were old before doing the work.
Now I can get strings for significantly less than £1 a set, I can change them much more frequently!
valuestrings
At this price you might expect these strings to be pretty average but you would be wrong. I would not describe myself as the greatest player in the world but these strings sound perfectly fine on my assortment of electric guitars and, helped by a regular wipe with fast fret last as well as many of the much more expensive stringsI have used over the years.
Great strings great price
Great quality strings at a great price use these on a couple of my guitars to get the heavy down tuned sound
Excellent value
As with the 9 and 10 string sets, these heavier gauge strings are excellent value for money. At this price you can afford to try out different gauge strings on your guitars. They do the job.
