Incredible Value

I bought one of these for my studio as a way to interface with Superior Drummer 3. Right out of the box, the kit is pretty damn study. The mesh heads are nice and responsive, and the overall sensitivity of everything is very adjustable. I still prefer to play on a real kit, but for midi interfacing, this fills my need very well.

Excellent Complete E-Drum Set

Excellent Complete E-Drum Set, I'm a beginner/learner and this kit has be fantastic for my learning. I really can't fault the kit and the price is really good for what you get. The only difficulty I had was putting it together on my own. I would recommend having another person helping with this.

Wonderful budget E-Kit!

In short: I love it! It's a great quality low price option that blows away the feature set and quality of other products in the price range. It feels about as accurate to an acoustic kit as an electronic drum kit can, and despite small issues like a troublesome bell zone on the ride and cymbal stands that can break (a single short cement screw solved this problem), I would recommend it to anyone looking for an e-kit with good quality and diversity with a budget that allows the step up from an alesis set.

Bangin'

Never had an electronic drumkit before and everything was very straighforward when setting up and getting to play. The quality is great and it comes with a lot of different sounds. Would recommend, really fun to play.

Very good quallity for their money.

The best choice for someone who has never owned electronic drums before. Their only issue is that sometimes they miss a few hits on the crash and bass drum. Otherwise, very good drums.

Great Drum set

Awesome for intermediate players; lots of pads at your disposal and a versatile module with many sounds!

not as silent as they say

cool drums and nice price, ” triggers work great, sounds are good enough and easily upgradable but bass drum” moves easily and might scratch floor even if you you’d had thick carpet… And actually these might not work in the block apartment. It depends from the walls and the style you play even the rebound sound is quite similar no matter how ”big” you hit… i played months untill i started getting compaints and i had to stop playing after few calls from the housing manager (probably neighbours can’t stand even small noise anymore…) it is ridiculous that some people say in reviews you could play these night time since the rubber pads are quite noisy especially if you play like you’d play in the stage. Anyway i was quite surprised that noise goes to the neighbours. nobody told me before i hit calls from the housing manager. so if you need to keep up that style in the block and don’t want get trouble forget these and buy air drums. If you want make videos just don’t do them (trust me you don’t want those to stalk you).

Mixed bag of tricks

The pros. Good range of parts to include the extra tom and cymbal. The sounds are OK after a bit of fiddling to programme up a kit one likes. I like the dual zone - you can e.g. have a tom on the skin and china on the rim. Ride being three zone is especially nice at this price range. The cons. I've dropped 2 stars: 1 the hi-hat is incredibly temperamental, even after the firmware fix. Just playing a simple disco beat or 4-on-the-floor on the hi-hat pedal causes spurious triggers and a mess. I would not rely on this kit live, even in a pub. 2 the midi functionality has a serious omission in that it plays all channels coming in. You cannot set the device to say only receive channel 10. This is a pain when daisy chaining say 'out' of your computer, 'in' to a keyboard then 'through' to the drum box. The result is you get all the other midi channels playing through the device's annoying GM bank. The only way round this is to buy another midi interface with more midi out sockets (or use soft synth or your keyboard's drums). The ability for a midi device to set send/receive channels has been around since the 80s, so come on guys! Overall build quality is medium - cymbals do sink down over time - again would not rely on taking this out to harsh live environment. Verdict. The box does have a few half decent sounds so it would be nice to be able to record them in a midi set up. Otherwise, it's just something to practice/learn on in the discretion of your own home if you need to keep the volume down.

A Best Buy and a must

The best of what you can get with this kit. U can connect it with the PC via MIDI and you are good to go. As the sounds that the kit has, I mean they are not bad but I wouldn't go with them. Overall is a nice solid kit. Played for like 2 days right now and I am having hella fun. Need to learn my way around the hi-hat but I guess I will over time.

Very pleased with the quality

I am very pleased with the quality of build and playability. It is the closest I have come to an acoustic feel while playing an E-kit.

Can highly recommend

I would say this is a very good copy for the Roland td 50, it has a very good price and quality, I will recommend it to students, or professional with no much budget to start playing with. Since it is electronic, it is perfect if u have neighbors, zero noise & you can connect your computer...

Best investment ever

I did not have high expectations on this eDrum kit but it turned out to be awesome. Everyday i discover something new with it.

I dont believe what others say that this is a beginners drum kit. I have been a drummer for 10 years and this kit lets me do almost anything but then also lets you record, mix the drum sound with music from an external device, has a practice aid with the metronome, etc.

In conclusion, awesome price/quality relationship. Do not doubt to buy it.

Exelente compra

Buenos materiales, llegó rapido a México por UPS , todo bien , todo funciona y se siente de calidad superior a otras marcas, el sonido no es el mejor pero para ensayar o si conectas a tu PC es una exelente elección, ocupa poco espacio.

FANTASTIC SOUND REPRODUCTION

This electronic set for me is the top dog. So many sounds from the hi hat to the ride and crash symbal. Very compact and sits comfortably in any confined space and easy to set up and dismantle for live gigs.

The Best Value For Electronic Drums

I have been playing acoustic drums for 20 years and electronic drums were never a part of my option but I live now in a community were playing an acoustic drum would mean trouble with your neighbours. I searched the internet to find an electronic drums that would be the best for me in terms of playability and budget and I found this Millenium MPS 850. It’s cheaper than the biggest names in Edrums but this kit is a monster. It felt so natural that I am not missing playing on an acoustic kit. The good thing is that I can expand my creativity with the different drum voices stored in the module and I can play drums without disturbing my neighbours.

Great for beginners, easy to set up.

It's really easy to set up, takes maybe 1-3 hours. It has most of the features you could want, I don't think it has any bluetooth capabilities, so that's probably the only thing. The snare for me came fairly loose really quickly, that's kind of annoying but not a huge issue, it can be fixed in a minute or two. It's not very quiet but most mesh e-kits I've played on aren't really. The kick pedal is not great but it gets the job done. I found that the vintage sound is the closest thing to a real acoustic kit and even that is like clearly lacking something. So it won't emulate a real kit but it is good.
