Nice

Price and quality are excellent

Bought this about a year and a half a go and its still going strong unlike other stands i've had previously!

Good product and ideal for controlled environments!

Purchased a short while ago and no problems so far!

Not an overly large base, resulting in slight instability, so I wouldn't readily recommend for gigging for fear of elements out of your control knocking it over!

Other than that the screw tightening mechanism is quite secure, and with careful use should cause no problems!

For the price, cannot fault this stand, especially for home use!

Good for studios/indoor use

Great for indoors or studios where use is not rugged and opening and closing is seldom to reduce wear and tear on joints.

I use this for my studio where it is miking up my snare. I don't usually bring it out so it has lasted me 2 years now all still working good.

Good for the money

A good, cheap microphone stand. Perfect for a home studio but it does lack in stability.

Good stand for home recording!

Friend of mine had these and in his case quality was not good. It cracks very quickly, but mine is still alive and I think for this price and home recording it is really OK!

Good Mic stand

I got this for recording guitar and vocals at home. I think it is fine for home/studio use but I don't think I'd use it for gigs. I think I'd need a stand thats a bit more sturdy for live use. I was worried that this stand won't be able to record guitar amps but it can actually can reach down low to record amps, so I was very happy about that. The stand itself has a nice look and is very easy to set up. You just have to be careful using it, especially when you are adjusting the height and arm. But I think it's worth the price and it does what I need it to do when I'm recording at home.

Price reflects the quality

I bought two of these stands to hold overhead pics over a drum kit.

Both stands arrived one had the boom arm thread on thumb screw striped out causing the arm to slide down. the other stand works fine but definitely feels cheap.

If these stands are all you can afford then they are ok, but their are much better stands out there.

Solid budget stand

I have a couple of these and they work greart. I can't imagine they'd take too much of a beating before they break but can't really argue for the price

You get a lot for your money

Bought this to use as a stand for my sm57 while i record my amp.

It does the job,seems to have pretty good quality build and for the price its great.

As good as you'd expect for the price.

I bought this as a back-up, along with some more expensive ones - although it doesn't feel as good, or as srtong, it will hold a mic for a good length of time without much trouble.

For something like an SM58, this will be fine - it's tall enogh for standing singers, it can go low enogh to record an amp on the floor - I wouldn't exactly trust it to support a Neumann, but for most things (particularly in a live environment) this should suffice.

I don't expect it to last for that long (unless you're really careful with it) if you use it as your main mic stand, but you should get a year or two out of it before anything starts to fall apart, depending on how you use it, and how often. Great for casual users/beginners.

It does feel reasonably sure-footed, and won't spontaneously fall over, but the rubber on the end of the legs is hard and not very grippy, and it actually warns you that it may stain wood floors.

For serious gigging, or studio use, I'd go for something a little more expensive - something that will likely last longer, and can support heavy condenser microphones.

Holds Up Microphones!

I hate those boom stands with the movable metal bars that tighten the main joint. You know, where you have to keep passing the bar through its slot as you turn it? I can't stand them!!

This one has a nice chunky plastic disc instead, and everything else about it feels solid and reliable. Comes with the 3/8 adapter I'm always losing.

Keeps your mic from hitting the floor. What more could you want?

Poorish quality mic stand. Legs are not perfectly symmetric, the vertical bar is not at all vertical. I would not put one of my more fragile ribbon microphones on this stand, but usable for eg. an SM57.

Microphone stand is robust enough

Good construction with metal where it counts! The legs stay in the deployed position when the stand is lifted so no problems moving the stand. Very stable but does transmit a bit of floor noise if you are singing on a wooden stage. Must be placed on a carpet if using in a home studio for the same reason; still, it is not meant to be a studio stand. For live recordings, the noise doesn't seem too obvious. So unless you have a fortune to spend, this is a good buy.

Good for the price

Bught few of them, every time im searching for new one, this is the one i buy. Its is great for the price. of course you can spend 50 euro for a better one, but for general use its handy to have few of those without breaking the bank,

For 12 euros its OK, but not good!

I have dissapointed in this stands, the quality is not the best but not poor.

I found that, one of the threads was aborted when i unpackaged the product (not my fault, manufacturing problem), so te adjustment was incredible.

I fixed it in my workshop, i a cut a new, bigger thread on it.

The stability is good enough, nothing special, it does what you want.

The handling is hard, because the adjustment screws sometims stucked, and you need a huge force to solve the problem, some of the adjustment screws not ergonomical (too little), it hurts for my hand sometimes.

If you dont want to spend a lot of money for mic stand, it can be a good choise, because of the price. You can live together this stand, but if you need a really good stand buy an another one, for more money.

it's not quite as high quality as a Hercules stand but it does the job well and if all you're looking for is an extra mic stand then this is a good piece of gear, if you'll be needing a main mic stand for gigs however you're better off investing in something more substantial
