Does the job

Ok, it's cheap, it does the job but it seems prone to working its fittings loose and developing boom wobble. If you are looking for a cheap mic stand that will be kept fairly static then it will be fine. If you need to swing the boom in and out of position then it will annoy.

Good stand

A good, budget stand, struggles with heavier mics

I have a couple of these in the boot of my car, they are decent mic stands and have lasted a while. Struggle with heavier microphones, large diaphragm condensers etc.

Effective stand for its price point.

Ive had this stand for quite some time now and found it to be very reliable in most situations. I only use it for my home studio as I would not find it very durable or rugged enough for live gig situations.

Ive used it with quite a few different microphones and some of the heavier mic's do tend to put a strain on the stand. Just be careful so as to not tip the stand and damage your more expensive microphones. While it is not the best stand in the world it has yet to let me down. All I wanted it for was light use so I cannot really fault it.

Decent stand for the money

I've had the stand for a good while now so am in a position to rate it properly.

The rotating bits are all still working as they should - a problem I have had with other stands. They can be recommended on those grounds alone.

With heavier mics, one has to be careful with the boom extension - the stand will tip over if even slightly provoked. That said, it's just a matter of paying attention to the set-up.

I've had it a good while and it seems robust - so I can recommend it.

For non-critical Applications

Gets the job done for smaller gigs and less critical applications. Sturdy enough and has never given me trouble personally, though I know a few people with older ones that have lost their staying power.

It is obviously not the best quality stand but it holds up, and given its price you might as well buy one or two. But I wouldn't rely on it as my primary stand in studio applications, or for putting microphones in slightly "dangerous" places (overheads for example)

Pros

First of all this is a great stand for doing small gigs and great for recording acoustic guitars and singing the boom has a good range and the whole stand is fairly robust plus its a great price you can't argue with that, lets face it once you look after it you will always have it, it does the job and I'm very happy with it

Cons

Im sure you will always get the whingers and moaners if thats the case then splash out a few more quid and buy a more expensive one if this isn't up to your standards !!!!!!!

Millenium MS-2003

This microphone stand is not the perfect one, but for its price it's pretty sturdy and when recording from your microphone you have no problem using it. It has all the features the pro ones have (not perfect, again) but you can use it extendedly with success.

Limite

On comprend mieux le prix à l'utilisation... C'est léger, fragile et ça casse vite. Ok pour un studio mais en utilisation concert, non c'est très moyen.

Standard Microphone Stand

This is a standard microphone stand that you can use on a home studio situation or basiclly anywhere where you won't mess with it a lot .

It's not high quality constructed and it's not very stable , so i won't use it as a working tool on concerts and live situations where i need something that won't cause be troubles ever , but as a second choise in my house where this are more controlable and less risky .

Not bad!

Great bang for the buck. I wasn't expecting much from this brand, I just needed a mic stand for some home recording but it turned out to be quite the useful little thing. I've handled all the stand brands in different studios and this one isn't too bad at all, all things considered.

Dismal quality , Unnessesarily bad .

Very very poor product , You may think this is cheap , It's not ! the quality is deplorable , it can not be tightened up at all really , maybe just about capable of mic'ing up a stationary object , certainly no use to a singer or any situation where it gets adjusted or moved around .

Superb stands

I use these all the time and have plenty of them. I use them for a wide range of purposes.

They're well made, have a good finish and are weighty and stable enough to take even fairly hefty mics at full extension.

Handy Mic stand

I've used a few of these and they last 4-5 years with steady gigging use. They are light and easy to fold away for transport.

They are stable but over time problems do arise with the boom drooping. Also, if you accidentally stand on one of the 3 feet, the rubber stoppers can break making the stand unstable..

Good Stand

Didn't think much when purchased as I have a few hercules stands and viewed this as cheap spare.

Actually very nice stand and will be buying a few more.

Good strong Microphone stand

Very stable microphone stand. Been using it now a couple of months. Compact when folded. Great quality as such a reasonable price. I highly recommend this microphone stand.

Good stand, does what exactly it intended for. Good quality build and sturdy.

Decent all round performer

I used this for live performances for about 5 years and it took a beating on the road and in venues with people bashing into it and walking on it. Over time is has been kicked and beaten into submission but it did a stand up job :-) for a number of years.

Pros: Light weight, easy to set up, took a beating before finally giving in. Cheap price!!

Cons: lost stability over time through use but again it took a hammering on the road so this is to be expected.

Overall: This is a good mic stand and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
