Great value

Can't believe it's possible to buy a stand of this quality for such a low price - excellent.

Brilliant

I love these mic stands. Incredible quality for such little money. I was dubious when buying these because the price was so cheap but I am so glad I did. Everything wells strong, secure and well built. Sure, when I stick a heavy, large diaphragm condenser mic on the end and boom it out, it needs a little extra tightening but I have gone through 3-4 hour gigs on a bouncy stage with one of these holding a condenser over a drum kit and its staying strong and secure but most importantly in place the whole time. Please don't consider any others unless you are really anal about the equipment you buy because these are fantastic!

Seems and feels good

Had doubts based on price, but when arrived I found no reasons for worries. Seems to be built well. Stands in my home studio now and does what it should.

A sensible option for venues working on a budget

Having experimented with numerous brands of stand during the past decade there are few that I can say have really felt like value for money. The King & Myer stuff certainly left that impression and so did these.

Like their shorter cousins, also reviewed, the MS-2003s have good joints and fixtures which have proven themselves through the test of time.

Mic stands get regular (see daily) usage at our small venue and few have required less ongoing attention than these which, given their modest price tag, was encouraging.

As with all mic stands, the legs are vulnerable to hyper-extension when trodden upon but Millenium can hardly be blamed for their misuse. Otherwise they have proven durable, stable and good value for money.

Rock Solid

Holds every mic in my locker with ease, stays in place when I need it without slipping and is very easy to use.

It's lightweight so I don't throw my back out every time I need to bring a bunch of them anywhere and they're not bulky like some of my other mic stands.

Would recommend every small studio have at least a few of these and if you take good care of them then they will last.

An okay stand

I use this in my apartment to hold a Shure SM57. It works great for that. I would not use it outdoors though as it is a tiny bit wobbly. I don't think it would tip over in the wind but the microphone would definetly not stay put.

Great

This stand is stable and strong , i have a couple of stands the is actually the most stable, the telescopic pole makes for great height and the boom makes it great for any angle or awkward stage set up.

Good for the price

This is a nice mic stand for sure. Easy enough to handle and adjust, and well build. I had other cheaper ones in the past, and they broke in no time, but this one is just great for practices and gigging.

I would like it to be a bit more stable, but this is otherwise a great stand for the price paid.

Good for a budget stand.

For the price it is difficult to complain about this mic stand, with my only wish being that it was a little more stable when holding heavy microphones, but that may be slightly unreasonable considering the excellent value of this product.

Basic, light, not the best built qulaity. You generally end up taking it apart and tightening every piece after every use. Ok quality but honestly would prefer to spend an extra 10e on something stronger.

Millenium MS-2003 - Great Value for Money

We bought a couple of these stands as part of kits with SM57s and SM58s They do exactly what they should - collapse to nothing, are easily positioned when required and stable.

Probably there are better mic stans, but for this price it is probably the best you can have. Stability is also acceptable what could be received by this stand, but really the price is very affordable the the equipment like this stand.

Portable and compact, this stand is not high-end quality, but will most likely be enough for any homerecording/small studio projects. It holds up nicely, but I've had it only for 5 months now.

High quality stand!

The Millenium MS- 2003 stand is in general a very good stand.

First of all, it is built with a firm material, so it does not bend and break.

Besides that, it does not slip on the ground due to the rubber feet, which makes it even more stable and easy to handle.

Also, the screws are easy to use and do not blockish at all, which is a very important thing because in many situations, when the screws are hard to use, it easily irritates the user.

Easy to take it with you on your travels as well!

I would recommend this Millenium MS- 2003 stand to every musician that is looking for a stable stand!

Great stand for the price

The bottom of this stand is very sturdy, stable and well weighted - something you'd expect in a more expensive product. The top joins are a little bit less strong, but they do the job well nevertheless.

It's a good, sturdy stand, recommended.

Okay for the money

A general purpose microphone stand; OK for the money. We use these in our studio, mainly for rehearsals, where they are kept open all the time. We have had to gaffer tape the pivot arm on these after about a years daily use. The plastic nut underneath is hard to get tight; nearly impossible. For heavy gig use where the stands will be constantly folded & unfolded, I would suggest spending more money. However, there are no real problem with them as regards value for money. The stand is fairly sturdy, loud, with good weight. & quite well made. We used these at a festival promotion last summer as we needed some 10 mics on an all day stage set up. We used these for backline & backing vocals etc; there were no problems that gaffer tape couldn't handle. We have had few concerns with these stands, which offer decent value for money. Recommend for fairly light daily use. Recommended.

Ok stand for the money

For the money you pay, you get a more than reasonable stand. It actually works quite well as long as you don't extend it's height to the fullest. It's a bit thin, though. It has the same diameter as it's smaller sibling MS-2002, on which ot doesn't pose a problem, but on this one, in combination with the height, it tends to be a bit wobbly.

Great Price to Quality Ratio

I ordered the Millenium MS-2003 mic stand because my Millenium MS-2002 Drum mic stand was just about too small to sit down while playing acoustic guitar. The stand stoops down to a very low level so its brilliant whether you are performing while standing or sitting. I didn't have an issue with the stand falling over or tipping once you place the legs in the right position. It seems to be a sturdy construction and much better than I expected, especially for the price. All of the bars screw into place securely with no trouble and they don't seem flimsy or weak.

I use the stand for home use and it does the job perfectly!

Basic boomstand; make sure you match you stand to your microphone!

It's a decent quality stand and can be positioned quite well...however in combination with the (quite heavy) behringer b-1 and the position where i will be using it (and the lack of space nearby to place the stand) it's not very stable.

I should have gotten a model with bigger 'feet' to support my application better, but i didn't properly verify the weight of the microphone.

Not a bad choice for the price if you can place the stand relatively closeby so it's stable.
