Millenium MS 2003 Reviews
Very good for the price.
I recently purchased this stand for my home studio. I chose this stand because I didn't want to spend too much money. I found the stand to be absolutely exceptional. It is extremely sturdy and durable. It is able to hold my AT 2035 condenser without a problem. The one fault I would have with it is that the base a small bit crooked, but not enough to cause any actual problems. I would highly recommend this stand.
MS-2003
This microphone stand is ideal for little bands. Very good price and quality ratio. Characterized by strong materials and bolts. Ideal for bigger microphones also. Very good stability and handling for stage and mobile applications also.
Great buy
Noting bad to say about these at all. I have always had good faith in the Millenium brand this could stand toe to toe with any stand of a higher price range any day i will be buying more of these in the future.
a god mike stand
One of the things that really helps a performer is a mike stand that does the job. My old one fell to bits, so I ordered one of your inexpensive models.
I arrived today. Good, solid kit, nothing fancy, but now I have a boom again.
Affordable mic stand
Millenium finally change mechanic in those mic stand. It's more stable and solid. For this price is very affordable then K&M, but stability for heavier microphones can be problem. So it's important think about application.
Good quality mic stand
This is the best mic stands we have. We bought 4 of this. Its very good build and very stable. The extended leg is very helpful for stabilising the stand especially in uneven surfaces. Highly recomended,
Millenium MS-2003
the Millenium MS-2003 mic stand is well made ,i have been using 4 of these stands for the last year now for live band work and they work very well, they pack up tidy and the fittings on them are fine ,they are well worth the price ,i would recommend these thanks
Great stand
you can't go wrong at this price point
Quality matches price
cheap stand in every way. I wouldn't but this again, fine for home use but doesn't withstand the wear and rare of transport and gigging.
Good quaity for home use
Bought this for some home recording to put a Samson G-Track on it. It was easy to assemble and safely supports to microphone.
It's perfectly fine for home use. I could imagine it would even be OK for live performances but have never tried that out.
Overall a very good mic stand
i bought this microphone stand to hold my sm57 snare microphone in place, i think from now on all my microphone stands will be ms-2003 due to their excellent build quality and very good stability.
The paint- the black paint is good and strong for the job in hand, although it doesnt look like it will last long, trust me it lasts long very well!
The mic clip screw- the converter makes the stand compatible with two different types of mic clip, so far all of my mic clips/ drum mics with built in clip have fitted on one of them because they are standard mic clips
Overall a really good stand that is very compatible :)
Mic Stand
I wasn't expecting too much for the price...and it does what I need it to do..
Okay for the money.
These stands are good for budget stands - they don't tend to last very long if you're a heavy user who isn't careful; I've had a couple where bits have fallen off because I've not been meticulous. However, they are reasonably sturdy and as long as they are treated with care, they should last!
Who?
Millenium - a name you probably havenet heard of - and thats normally a bad sign...but truly - these stands are much better than the usual budget types and whilst I wouldnt put an expensive mic at the top - they are fine for less critical applications and certainly live work!
Great Mic Stand At A Cool Price
I debated whether to give these 4 or 5 stars. In truth is you were will to spend 10 times as much you could get something a bit better but considering the price point I felt they deserved 5 stars. Excellent for studio use and provided you don't keep throwing them in the back of the tour van at high speed they are perfectly roadworthy.
Good stable Mic Stand
I have used this stand with my large diaphragm condenser as well as an acoustic absorber. The stand is very stable even after putting these heavy items on it. Some of you may want a longer boom arm depending on what you want to mic up. All of the joints can be screwed together nice and tight and it collapses down for storage as you would expect.
Bad stand, lightweight and flimsy
I really don't want to sound too negative but this stand is pretty badly made. It wobbles and I would much rather have fewer better quality mic stands than this. It's an ok stand for ambient work but too light for mechanically heavy and high movement uses such as drums and vocals. Spend a bit more. Trust. Me its worth having a good stand, but this is not one of them.
Good stand for the money
This came with the SC 450 bundle. We have a few of these and they're decent stands but don't tend to last that long.
affordable mic stand
i love these stands...... great quality for the price...i bought 4 of them...no matter how expensive your stand is you have to look after it and that means always loosen screws before you move any part.... if you do this and store in a dry place , this stand will last .... worth it
