Mic stand

This held my microphone very well. I was very happy with it initially but then i tried to attach my AKG C414 and the Thread mount was too big. I think that the adapter should be included for both attachments. This is where they really let themselves down. That little attachment could be the difference between a good and bad recording session. Shame for something so small.

OK for the money.

The build quality and matereals seem fine, only some joints could be better built. Even when locked in position feels a bit wobbly. In a studio works fine. on a stage I would look elsewhere.

Sturdy

I bought this for my son for his home recordings so I've no first-hand experience of using it. That said, after a year of good solid use by a teenager, it's showing no signs of wear and tear. Good solid product.

Great Stands

Nothing much too say, it is okay microphone stand.

For the price, I thought it is plastic, but it is all metal, with some rubber parts on legs, and some plastic knobs.

All in all very good.

Solid

A very solid mic stand for the price.

If you need greater functionality & features then you need to pay more but if you don't then this is perfect.

Does as it is supposed to

I use this microphone for home recordings and for my desktop microphone. For this use it is adequate.

The pros:

- it is easy to set up

- it can reach very high and very low

- it is folds well

The cons.

- the main pivot adjustment is difficult to tighten and is not suitable for heavier more fragile microphones

- if the microphone is stretched out the stand is fairly easy to topple

Over all a solid purchase for basic needs. However, I wouldn't consider it for more professional settings as it isn't stable enough.

Out-standing

I use the Millenium MS-2003 in my home studio set up and have found it to be a perfectly serviceable microphone stand. It feels sturdier than other similarly priced microphone stand which I have tried in the past and would have no problem recommending it for home or light studio use.

Decent stand. Good value.

It's a good stand for the money. Had a bit of trouble setting it up but it went through 2 band recordings and the mic was stable despite the stand being pushed around.

Ok Stand for the price

It's a cheap and cheerful stand, It does what a mic stand does. it's not amazing but it's not terrible either. Not as stable as I'd like for live situations.

Not stable but ok

I've got this stand as part of sm57 bundle. What can I say about this stand? It's difficult to fix this stand in needed position, but it's possible. Generally speaking the stand gives the impression of unreliable product and I wouldn't use it in professional way: on the stage, for example. But for home usage this stand more than okay, especially for the price.

Good Stand

Great build and looks well under lights

Good and solid stand....

Very great product, if there is a downside it is the microphone holder. It has a tendency to flip down after a few songs, because the thumbscrew is hard to tighten....

But it is a rigid build, and the legs have a great length, insuring you that it won't tip and fall even when the mike is fully stretched.

Not Durable

I used it just 2 times and its already broken with top boom clamp. not solid not recommend. wont buy this again

Don't buy this

I got it as part of a bundle but for anyone looking to buy a mic stand I'd recommend spending 10 euros more to get something much more decent.

Good for home studio usage

Got this item as a part of a Shure SM57 bundle (mic, stand and cable).

I intend to use the stand in my small home-studio where I record ideas on the go - and the stand seems to fit my purpose. The screws seem tight for now, haven't had an issue with them during the past week. I'm probably going to update this review after using the MS-2003 for a year or so to give more details on how they've fared with prolonged usage.

However, my main concern is the stability of the stand which doesn't seem particularly great. If you're planning on use it at home it'll probably do the job, but I'd definitely be afraid to put it on stage or with a more expensive mic during a session at my recording studio.

Overall, it's a nice microphone stand for the price but if you want stability, my advice would be to look further.

Nice for studioes, not so nice for live-production..

You get what you pay for. It is solid microphone stands, and they would be great for use in studio or places where they doesn't get too much rough handling.

I ordered up these, just for fun, to see what kind of stands you can get for such a low price. I have to say that you get a pretty good stand for that price, but for me, it wasn't the right stand as I am doing more of the live productions where the stands get some rough handling.. After a while the stand get a bit hard to tighten, and the plastic knobs doesn't really last.

If you are a bit careful with the handling, you can get a really good stand for a great price!

Good value mic stand

I've bought a pair of these to use as overhead mic stands and for acoustic instruments.

They feel reasonably sturdy, and come with the necessary adapters for both sizes of microphone clip. I've tried them with a large diaphragm condenser with a heavy metal chassis, and they stand up and balance reasonably well.

I've paid more for microphone stands that have felt cheaper than these, so I'm pretty happy with the purchase. All of the threads are of a decent quality, and they hold their position well.
