Great value and good quality

It's a mic stand; but it's solid and does the job as well as much more expensive ones. Would certainly buy another if I need it.

Basic but adequate

I got this as part of a bundle with an SM57. My use case is for miking guitar cabs and other stuff at home. I needs to be able hold the SM57 or a cheapo large diaphragm condenser mike and a quick trial with both was fine, both stayed where I put them. It isn't the most robust or solid stand I've ever used but for the price of a pint of beer I wont complain and it really is ideal for my light use at home. I'm sure it would be fine for live use too for that matter.

Strong

I found this stand to be stronger than it looks. I use it for my vocal condenser microphone in my home studio and it supports the weight of the mic with ease. extremely pleased with this purchase. i will definitely be buying more for my home studio.

Millenium MS-2003 mic stand

Well...it definitely can be better than this. I bought it because, well, it was cheap but Im not fully satisfied with it.While it does its job, after 6 months of usage the stand is kinda wobbly, and to be honest I dont know if I would reccomend someone to buy this stand. "Legs" are fine but on the boom arm things are not so good.

Anyway, for the occasional user I guess its fine but we use this stand for band practice twice a week and it doesnt hold up. But for the price I guess it cant be much better than this.

Best suited for light items

Works well with light mics, I've been using it with the Rode NT1-A and it stays up indefinitely with some tweaking. It's been used live multiple times with no issue, however the balance does require some fiddling about.

Strong and balanced

Lately purchased this product as a spare, but I can tell is surprisingly good. It stays firm and steady - even the vertical setting - with no need to readjust repeatedly. I would recommend to note that pins are covered with non-slip rubber caps which can stain parquet - especially if wet - so it would be better positioned on a carpet.

Above all, excellent value for money!

low quality mic stand

the main hardware is made of plastic. it came kind of broken and i think its not companys fault. its beacause this product is low quality. i know that you may not have so much money to take a 40euro mic stand but dont buy this one. its not worth it. because it'll break in a month or so. you better wait and buy a more expensive one. Cause if you do that you'll have a stand that it'll hold up pretty well in the long run and you wont have to buy new one every time.

Good Stand for the occasional user

I'm not a singer, and to prove that to my Bandmates once and for all, I decided to buy a cheap mic and Stand.

Fairly sturdy and does the job well, but some of the plastic bits seem a bit too cheap. Wouldn't want a drunk to fall on it though while doing the "Backwards Monitor Hurdles".

But there again, for the price, it's worth the risk - I wouldn't replace a broken one with a better stand. I'd replace it like for like.

Anyway, they still make me sing.

Decent Mic Stand

I have used this mic stand for two years now, and it is still going strong! I use it for recording at home. Probably not the best stand for live gigs, but it is incredible value.

Perfect for what I wanted.

Bought to hold 2 overheads on a stereo bar for mic'ing drums. I was half expecting to have to gaffer tape the legs to support the weight, but even at full extension with two mics and leads it was nowhere near falling over. I am using quite light overheads though, I could heavier mics being a potential problem.

Very easy and quick to setup, no slipping at any joint so far.

Can't go wrong for the money!

Good For The Price.

This mic stand is very good for what it is, Quite stable, can extend quite far and tall and still be fairly stable. Quality of material is good, solid metal makes for a professional look and good weight for stability.

Great for the price, but won;t last

Great product for the price but if you need to something to stand the rock tests of time, spend some more of you green on a more quality microphone.

Good Price performance

I ordered this Microphone stand from Millenium in a package with the Shure SM57 LC. For home use, to record my bass from the amp it does what it should, it holds the microphone and that for a sensational price!

Decent stand for the price

For this price, I don't believe you'll find a better boom stand! It really ticks all the boxes - simple operation, solid components, excellent stability. Don't over-tighten the bolts, as they will weaken - this applies to any mic stand I've ever used, and is not an indictment of this particular stand!

Very poor..

Honestly, the best feature of this stand is the cheap price. The stand itself cannot be stable if a mic is attached. Also, it is really difficult to adjust the position as you wish. But again, it is cheap.

With stands you really get what you pay for

The build quality of millenium stands really isnt that great. The joints and hinges are a bit flimsy and the plastic bits seem to be made out of cheap and easy to break plastic. This stand would be okay to use at home or at the studio but on live enviroment this stand is way too weak and unstable. In stands it seem to be the case you get what you pay for and i could easily justify spending three to fives times more on a reliable stand you could use for years or even decades. I understand not everybody needs a high quality stand so i see this product is on the market.

All I needed at the time was a cheap stand but you should defiantly spend a bit more money if its for recording to get that extra stability still good for what I needed it for.

Budget Mic Stand

A few friends and I have just formed a band and were looking for something to use at rehearsals. Didn't want to spend too much money to start with so this looked ideal, and it is. It's fairly sturdy, more than good enough for our/my needs but wouldn't hold up to a raucous gig environment. More than adequate reach, I'm 179cm, 5' 11", and there's plenty "left" for anyone taller. Easy to adjust, packs away tidily, I'd definitely recommend it.

A very sturdy microphone stand

I've got three of these stands and use them for live gigging as well as studio recording. They do the job brilliantly and have never let me down. They are super strong and robust. They have survived every long journey despite being unkindly packed into an overloaded flight case each night. I've had them for a few months now and can easily seeing lasting for the next few years. At the low price I wouldn't even mind having to buy a few more if they didn't last!
