Shure SM57 LC 5-stars Reviews
Solid microphone for recording bass and guitar
Have been using this to record my amps for over a year now, and I couldn't be more happy with the sound. Used in conjunction with other microphones might be a great idea, as this being a dynamic, you're less likely to have phase issues with this.
Use it for recording and is an awesome mic! Very versatile, works for everything. 5*
A classic!
You can?t go wrong with the 57, I?m using it to record my guitar amps and I?m totally satisfied with the sound!
Brilliant for guitar amps
I bought this microphone as it's the industry standard professional- class microphone for recording guitar amps. I love it. It is excellent at mid- frequencies and also can be used as a microphone for snare drums. I wouldn't be without it and would buy again any time.

Highly recommend it for guitars, reamping and so on.
Good at snare with good pitch.
Better get one, than talking about.
Solid Mic and industry standard
There not much to say that people havent said about this mic. It's a work horse it will handle anything you throw at it. I use a pair of these for my snare. They are superb
Solid micro with no regrets
If you are looking for a solid / robust Micro that you can use for a long time with good sound quality for your drumset or cajon - take this one - no regrets!
My new Shure SM57 LC
I bought the legendary Shure SM57 LC microphone in the arsenal. I apply to removal of a sound from a guitar office of Laney Cub R12 and a snare drum. In details fulfills frequencies in the average and high middle. On an input it is heavy to overload the microphone. Very well in case of shock and biting sounds. For complete sounding in addition I use the condenser microphone.
In case of the small sizes it is weighty and executed from the strong casing and surely fastens with the holder who goes in a set.
In practice I assured myself an excellent working horse. It was pleasant to me.
In the short term to acquire one more microphone.
best classic mic
SM57 is one of the best mike for every kind of use.
We use it on snare/toms and for guitars too.
This mike is surpisingly good for recirding "dirty" vocals!
Microphone for all aplications!
SM57 LC is getting every detail just right, just like it sounds, it goes natural through speakers. Just like you are putting your ear near instrument
Absolutely great mic for the price
Easy to use, unbreakable, great for guitar, drum, no complain at all.
Great mic for acoustic guitars recordings and vocals
It's fast and accrate, best for neck position 5" from fretboard and about 3" from soundhole. I am using it as a standard for acurate timbre recorder. Powerful tool for vocals too. I was surprised how it beats much much higher priced competition!
Sure SM 57
The best old standard mic ever! Works great on many applications especially guitar cabs and high percussion sounds. Ian Anderson even used to sing through one! Can't go wrong having this in your mic collection.
Best Budget dynamic ever!
Can't go wrong with the legendary SM57. This mic is an absolute must for every studio, for Professional, Home and also live gigs. It can take a beating and it can take it with ease. I use it for recording my 40w guitar tube amp. I position it mostly on axis to capture more of the attack and the high end of the sound and pair it with a condenser to capture the low end frequencies. Ofcourse it can also be used on its own(I prefer abit off axis for a more fullsound). Great mic also for snare drums.I've recorded acoustic guitars as well as some vocals though it would'nt be my number 1 choice. Definately recommend this mic!!
Definitely go for this mic!
I absolutely love this mic! You just can't beat the Shure SM57. I use this mic for mainly recording guitars and sometimes other instruments and vocals. It's a great versatile mic that can be used for recording any instrument or voice in my opinion. Build wise it's seems to be built very solid, has a nice weight to it as well. I honestly don't think I'll need to buy any other mics. I would definitely recommend this for either studio or live use! You just can go wrong with this mic. There are cheaper mics out there but all I would say is just spend the extra bit and go for the Shure SM57! You won't be disappointed!
