Shure SM57 LC 5-stars Reviews
All you hear about tis microphone is true.
Legendary microphone used by millions of artists around the globe. By famous musicians live and in the studio.
Simply the best
I have 2 and I will definitely buy more in the future.
It's true what everybody says about SM57. This mic is a legend. I don't know if I can say anything bad about it, because it reproduce the sound perfectly. It has a clear and warm sound.
I've used it for guitar amp, bass amp, vocals, acoustic guitar and drums, and so far I was very pleased of the output. From my point of view, this is more suitable for live applications, since it doesn't enter in feedback so easily, and in studio I will be using it for guitar / bass amps and toms; otherwise I would go with condensers. But sometimes, even if you have a mic suited for a specific task, it is a good idea to add one of this. It will make the sound more natural.
Like SM58, it's made of metal, looking like it would last a life time. Don't freak out about the rotating / wobbling cap. It is mentioned in the specs that it's supposed to be like that. And unlike SM58, this one is smaller. So.. from my point of view it is worth every penny, even more. I believe this is a must have mic.
Great mic
Great for snares, amps, and even vocals sometimes.
Classic
Well, we all know shure, some people sing into a shure sm58 and even some sing into a shure sm58. Me personally have both of them, and i would say, they both sound really good. SM57 is small, has a very handy little bag made of leather. Well, at least it feels like leather. I don't actually know about the quality of SM 57's decades ago, but as my friend said, nowadays most of the music stuff we have is in pretty good quality in comparison with 70's and 80's. I'm sure, but I would definitely say this one is good enough for just about everything. If you are singer, you can use it for recording or you live performances. It's recording in proper quality and it gives you characteristic sound of SM57. You can google and see how many singers use this one for their performances. And also if you're guitarist you can use it for recording you guitar amps. There's thousand ways of recording your guitar amp by using this microphone. And finally if you're drummer you can use it to record your snare, toms or your hi-hat. Recording a snare by using this mic, it's just classic thing. Probably everyone does that. So I'd basically say this one is a legend. Every recording studio around the world has this microphone. Because it's universal.
Great mic at a great price
Best mic I could find to mic my percussion instruments. It's great for any instrument and Ian Anderson even uses one for vocals.
Great all around mic
It's just perfect for bedroom recording of my electric guitar amps, I used it for my katana 100 and marshall mg15 and i am very happy with the sound.
I also used the mic for vocal recordings, and the result is more than decent. I am not a pro at recording vocals, but I was definitely impressed by the mic's versatility.
It's a very nice little mic, great price, high quality, love the looks also, and about the sound, don't ever worry, it really rocks
its a classic!!!! industry standard!!!
its a classic!!!! industry standard microphone that does the job done!!!!recommend it to everyone!!!!!
Bought two of these for drum recording. Should have gotten them a long time ago. Perfect for snare top / bottom.
Since then I have also used them for: miking an amp for a guitar or rhodes, percussion and (surprisingly) vocals.
Standard for instrument recording
Standard microphone for instrument recording.
One of the must-have mics
I use it mainly on snare drum and guitar amps, but sometimes on live vocals and acoustic guitar as well.
It is quite an obvious choice for every studio or live venue, you should get one if you don't have it already! At least! If you can buy more than one then do it!
Excellent Instrument Mic...
This cannot be beaten for quality and is excellent for the purpose - a great Microphone!
SM57 Is a standard.
Everyone knows what it is.
Allround
Dé allround microfoon. Zeer goeie staat.
pr?myslový standard
tomuhle není co vytknout, pro nahrávání kytarových box? nezam?nitelná klasika. jeho ostrost je dána audiotransformátorem uvnit?. rozhodn? nedoporu?uji odpojovat podle postup? na netu - ztratí sv?j osobitý charakter, kv?li kterému se rozhodn? vyplatí koupit si originál. pokud n?komu nevyhovuje jeho osobitá ostrost, m??e klidn? pou?ít jiný mikrofon.
Is Great
Works as is supposed to

the wildcard mic!
I use this mic to record electric guitar amp, classical guitar, acoustic guitar, voice and harmonica and does the job really good for all of them. Also its quality seems nice so far. I think this mic is the golden ration between all mics for recording various instruments and voices.
