Professional Standard

The SM58 is the professional standard. It also is not very expensive, so you can have a great mic for live and studio performances paying a relatively cheap price. Go for it!

Top of its range

Shure SM58 in itself is a guarantee. Totally happy about this and would recommend it to anyone. The product is reliable and rugged and definitely a must in the industry.

Shure SM58 LC

I intended to use the Shure SM58 LC for rehearsals and gigging. However, I don't use it very much as I prefer my other microphones (Sennheisers).

I have no negative comments to make about this mic because it is a good mic and a dependable standby

Cheap microphone, great for vocals and usable for communication

Been using this mic for over a year and using it for recording vocals and general communication. For those two purposes, this microphone is great for the price.

The microphone isn't made for communications so if that's your primary purpose, you should probably look elsewhere.

I recommend using a pop filter in combination with the microphone!

Good "iron", which will always be appreciated by musicians

Get it!

This microphone is perfect for practice and smaller gigs. The sound makes justice to your voice and I can't complain. Definitely one of the best ''hard use'' dynamic microphones.

Best Mic ever

This is simply the best vocal (not only) microphone you are ever going to buy , at least for stage situations .

I have no problem with it , i have been touring with it for a couple months and it's fine , not even a dent.

Very Shock-resistant and the sound is really clear.

Simply a very solid and affordable microphone

Good quality sound, with no frills. Solid design means your floor will break before the mic, and it's easy to get it to work with all your other equipment.

It's easy to find a good wind-screen for it, easy to get it on a standard shock mount, and the XLR connection feels really solid too.

It's hard to find anything that I don't like about the mic.

Great for singers

My wife has used Shure microphones all of her working music career and has never been disappointed in their quality or performance.

Used it for an open mic night recently and it sounded fantastic. I've also used it to record my acoustic guitar and it worked surprisingly well for that too.

Good, reliable mic.

Great mic. I've been using it for couple years now and it hasn't let me down. I've used it for small restaurant solo gigs and wedding gigs with band. Usual stuff.

Classic!

It's classic and it's really deserve to be the best choice mic for rehearsals and band gigs. Really, take it if you even think what to take. Good for everything: vocal, instruments.
