Perfect for playing the guitar

Bought them because I wanted a headphone for playing guitar at night, they are perfect for it, also for listening music

Amazing Headphones. Very recommended, great sound.

Greatest customer support.

This phones is half-closed, so you hear sound from outside as well.

They have leather ears, fits good. I use them for recording and you do not tired within 3-5 hours of using. Sounds good as well. Best choice for first meeting with professional equipment and recording. Excellent price for this quality.

Does the job (mostly)

Decent for the low price. Not ideal for users with long hair as hair catches easily in the hinges. Cable seems rather flimsy but is replaceable.

Impressed!

I was genuinely impressed with these headphones! Great sound and sturdy! i wore for hours with no discomfort in my ears or head!

The only "problem"-albeit a minuscule one- i have is that hair are sometimes caught between the tiny space between the metal of the casing and the plastic arm.

Other than that, my mind was blown!

Professional headphones for a good price

If you want to have closed headphones and at the same time do not want to be fully isolated from the surrounding sounds, then the model AKG K240 Studio MK II does the job. I use them for playing guitar and the biggest asset is the clarify of the sound. However, it lacks a bit of bass.

Very nice for the price

So my main headphones are audio technica msr7 . I needed a 2nd pair and I didn't like the beyerdynamics (I use these at work and I needed something different)

The sound is ok, they are very plane and responsive.

They are quite comfortable and 0 weight

The materials seems cheep plastic but I don't mind since they help me on mixing

It comes with long cable and 3,5 to 6 adapter.

For 55, it's very nice purchase, but I would get 2nd pair for that sound swap when your ears need a change.

Best headphones I ever had

I may not be the most experienced person in relation to evaluating studio headphones, but I used a lot of different headphones in my life and these are the best I ever had.

I use these with Zoom G1 Four, for silent guitar practice, and I prefer this to a cheap amplifier. This is basically everyone one needs to practice guitar, great multi-effects device and a pair of great sounding headphones.

I particularly like that I can replace the cable if it's broken, which happens often on headphones.

They are very comfortable and I don't feel any discomfort wearing them for hours. I like that they are semi-open so I'm not completely isolated, and can still hear if someone is calling me.

I don't have any cons to these headphones, and I feel the price was great (they were discounted at 55 euro).

Light and precise

Extremely light and comfortable headset, i can work long hours in the studio without feeling I am wearing headphones.

They're great for mixing but i would not use them in playing situation as they're not as tight on the head as others may be. If you're moving too much, they might just slide off your head before you realise.

Soundwise, they are very precise and clear but I tend to use another pair of (closed) headphones to compare and make sure I have the right 'mix', as those have a slightly mild rendering of the low-end.

In a nutshell, a good companion for mixing sessions in studio, less so for recording/playing sessions.

Decent for the price

I mostly these for over a year and for the most part they were great. Comfortable and pretty light. I wore them for hours at a time and didn't feel any discomfort.

I liked the fact that the frequency response was very flat which is why I used them for music production. That being said, the bass was lacking. It was really weak especially when it came to the sub frequencies.

The cable for these headphones is replaceable but very expensive.

Overall, pretty good for the price but I would suggest saving up a bit more to get headphones with a better bass response if you can.

Nice Headphone

This headphone is for me is very good for controlling the mixer. It's also good just to hearing music.

The only cons for me are the sound is leaking from the headphone to the outside. But overall is a good one.

Good for the price value

Cool sound

These headphones are very light and are not tiring for long wearing.

The sound is clean, using them for digital piano. Did not test them for music production on highs and basses.

Just Great

Pretty inexpensive for what you get: decent studio monitors with a detachable mini-XLR cable.

They're comfortable enough.

Good for the right application

If you want this to be your main headphones for mixing, just go get closed headphones.

generally the lows are weak.

could be great for studio recordings with the band so you get a fair amount of the sound in the room.

Greatly improved and excellent value for money

I bought my first pair of AKG K-240 over 20 years ago.

My cat (yes my cat!) chewed on the cable. Unfortunately back then the cables were permanently attached. The repair cost when you add the labour cost and parts was almost the same as the price of a new pair of headphones.

These new versions have detachable cables and feel more comfortable.

For monitoring while doing vocals or for close up listening of a sound that is making the mix difficult these will do the job.

"Never knew these frequencies could be heard!"

These are the first high quality headphones that I ever owned, so I don't know there is something better out there for this price, but they sound good to my hear. Sure I had slightly more comfortable ones, but I use them for my little home studio and they're great for the job.
