Sturdy and great sounding condenser mic

I really do love the sound that this condenser mic gives to my vocals, I would describe it as warm. I was a bit hesitant to buy as it the price was so good, I expected quality to be poor. I was wrong. Having used for it for about a year now it is a welcome addition to my home studio set up.

good

the microphone itself is good and easy to record with. the saund is good. The thing that comes with the michrophone to put on the stand is easy to brake, overall a good mice.

Hard to beat at the price

This microphone has sounded amazing in most friends that I recommended it too! Would recommend again!

Amazing mic

Such a nice microphone either for recording instruments or voice, such a clean sound .

Also nice for streaming or recording podcasts or anything related.

Nice size and weight and very easy to connect to the mic stand.

Great Mic in the price bracket

Really nice sounding mic. We use for creating foley sound effects and it picks up huge amounts of detail. Well built and comes with a really solid mount and a nice case too.

Studio quality Mic

I use it as a home studio mic and it is absolutely fantastic.

I recorded both male and female voices and it records with a good quality.

To enhance your experience I recommend that you buy a pop filter too just to avoid those noises.

Also, have in mind that the mic is a little heavy, so not all articulated mic stands will be able to give you a steady position.

Entry Level Mic

If you're after an entry level mic then this is the one, it's got a bumpy frequency response but if you're looking at getting a mic that doesn't you're looking in the wrong price range

It sounds pleasant, the mic has bumps in the right places, it might not be quite as smooth as some mics as stated before. You might get some shrill at 2kHz depending on the voice but some EQ can change that

It's an award winning mic, it stands out in the mix; if you're already considering it, buy it or save and get a more expensive mic. There's other more expensive mics that aren't as good as this

In my opinion, the source and the room is more important to than the microphone and if this is your first mic be aware that condensers will pick up a lot of the room sound

I've been using these for OH mics and Vocals mainly but there's nothing stopping you throwing it at a guitar cab

In summary, if you're after your first mic there's not much competition without spending twice as much

Sturdy

Amazing noise floor and fidelity for the price.

I literally had this microphone drop into a coffe cup, head first, fully submerged and it still works like a dream.

It is a tad sharp, but a pultec style eq clears it right up. My go to for second kick drum mic.

Best Budget Mic

I have used this mic before several times at my friend's recording studio and we never had any problems with it in terms of sound or quality. That's why I knew that this is the mic I was going to get, no questions asked. Anyone who has just started recording and is on a budget, this is the mic for you. Price is incredibly low for the quality of the product and other decent alternatives are almost double!

Something amazing

Probably the best sounding microphone for this price. Sometimes sounds better than mics that twice more expensive.

Pros

Great quality mic, made of metal. Sounds awesome, I used it to record vocals, mostly. No noise while recording.

Cons

I found out that i always want cut a little bit around 2-3kHz, and 7 kHz on every vocalist I recorded in my studio. Once I borrowed a Neumann u87 to make a comparison and that problem just disappeared.

In conclusian I may say that I can live with this, for this price it's super awesome. No matter in what studio you use it - a bedroom studio or a professional one. If you don't like how it sounds you better watch your studio acoustic treatment or buy a better preamp.

it's a nice mic

This was my first mic. I've been using it for quite some time now for recording mainly guitar.

I'm very please with what it has to offer and more for the price it costs.

I'm not too experienced in audio, but I've liked the quality of the audio so far. The quality of the material is very good, it feels very solid.

Quality usable mic but way more noisy than my others.

These mics are great, I have used them on vocals, guitar cabs and drum overheads so far...

Only slight issue I have is that they do give a bit of a hiss at medium-high gain its not a lot but it is noticeable and needs gating off.... its not the end of the world and they are very usable mics however.

Needs a decent mic stand which won't droop if you are using a boom arm though as they are quite weighty

Simply couldn’t recommend it more. Perfect for beginners and professionals.

Microphone of the Gods.

Its good, its great, fantastic. Can't go wrong with an audio technica. AT series especially. Just put a pop filter or a sock or something over it to get rid of that Pop noise and you are f****ng solid.

Quality is well good, don't worry too much if you drop it by accident unless you use it on a balcony and rock it out.

Basic microphone that does what it promises

I have been using this to record some pop vocals. I have a fairly weak voice and I don't have the best recording environment. I was pleasently surprised at the precision of this mic's patterns. Despite its modest build, it delivers on what I need it for and for the price, easily the best value for my money.

It's a great microphone, especially for the price

It does lack in it's features, meaning it has no side buttons or anything as such, but as an overall microphone it's great.

Pros - quality build, great and clean sound, almost no noise even when boosted to the maximum

Cons - lack of equipment that it comes with (it only comes with a carrying bag and a 3/8" adapter for a stand)

One of those best-price Microphones

It is a very good compromise to balance quality and price. I bit too harsh on the middle range in my opinion, which makes it very good for radio talks and instruments and less good for voices (or at least, to be checked on each voice).

If you are looking for a valuable microphone that is surely one to consider.
