Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Reviews
Great experience
I'm a mixing engineer and I bought this headphones to control my low end more precisely and it does it job. Very good quality sound, clear lows and mids. High frequencies are little bit strong I think. I wouldn't recommend to mix in headphones, but if you have small budget or you're looking for a good pair of headphones for better monitoring control you won't be disappointed with ATH-M50X.
Pros
Great sound quality for great price. There is no leakage when you record vocals with it.
Cons
My head hurts and numb when I put headphones for too long. I also mentioned that your ears can easily sweat after 20 mins of listening.
Quality
First headphones for mixing and editing and could not be happier. Perfect for what i need them for and do exactly what they say on the tin
Awesome sound & great comfort, built a bit stiff though.
The only downside of these great headphones is that the build quality is a bit stiff. If something (or someone) hits the headband, it's very loud. A bit more isolation with soft materials would have been better. Besides that: awesome sound, great comfort!
nice
Very clear and balanced sound. Lots of high quality cables . Perfect for traveling and field work.
If you could adjust the pressure would be nice. Its way to tight for me for long sessions.
The perfect headphones for home recording/mixing
The design is flawless, every single part of the headphones is made just right, there is no compromise anywhere.Superb build quality, amazing sound and great options on the switchable cables.
All in all very comfortable, you just cant go wrong for the price
Solid work horse
Very solidly built headphones, great for monitoring during tracking and for working on the go. Not the best sounding headphones I've ever heard (I was actually quite disappointed when I first heard them being used to my DT 880 pro) and not the most comfortable for long listening sessions, but they're really good headphones nonetheless, considering the price.
Recommended.
Great value for money
Comfortable for long sessions, long cable (you get different cables, I use the "telephone" cable mostly, very practical), seem to be built sturdy.
Not much of an expert, but sound is great. I use them mostly for recording and some early mixing.
No cons that I can think of.
Good pair of headphones - use them all the time
Good quality headphones, good fit, nice long cable
Excellent Headphones
I have very good references of these ATH-M50X Headphones, and they more than meet my expectations, It complies with the technical aspects required and its manufacture is of a very good level.
(used for mixing and mastering).
The details in these headphones are thought out in detail to offer good quality and clear sound necessary for demanding ears.
Excellent transaction, item as described quick delivery, Thanks for reaching out to us
extremely good headphones
very good for music listening or studio production work very comfortable and functional. The sound is very professional and comes with 3 useful cables for all sizes of connections. can be very bass prominent at times as it cover al of your ears but all in all very good headphones and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting good listening headphones or headphones for studio use.
Brilliant (literally and figuratively!)
Recommended by one of my sound engineer friends, who got it because one of his teachers used it! They both use it for mixing and mastering.
Compared to ANY headphone I've used so far (Vic Firth for drums, Roland, etc.), this one will have a CRISP high-end and will make the lows come ALIVE!
The sounds that come from it now MATCH what I hear in real life (for guitar gear reviews, bass gear reviews, drums and cymbal reviews, anything!!) so this has helped me a LOT to choose my gear online without needing to try it.

Incredible sound stage, very confortable! They worth every penny.
Very good monitor headphones for live sound engineering. Comfortable. Great acoustic isolation. Flat frequency response. Sounds better than Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro, but not as great as Sennheiser HD-25 Plus or Beyerdynamic Aventho...
My go too studio headphones
The best headphones to be on the ugly truth of sound
Good
In a sense, it seems to be one of the top standards. Widely used by musicians, sound engineers and not to mention regular persons.
Definitely one of the best headphones in the price range.
Best for the price
Can't really get much better than these for the price.
Great headphones! Very flexible, I also like the sound very much. It is very clear and pleasant to hear. But since they are closed for a long time they do not sit. Very suitable for wiretapping and recording.
Very good product!
but if you want to play in silence without people hearing you, go with in-ear monitors.
With half volume up on my pedal board everyone can hear the sound out of these headphones.
Amazing headphones.
You literally hear why they are studio standard, mixing with them in conjunction with my Kali LP6 monitors as sped up my workflow massively.
