Great studio headphones. Had them now for aound 4 months and they are great.

Very good headphones

These are the best headphones in their price range. I used them on movies, games, audio production. They are very solid, they did not break after 2 years, even after 4 kids used them a lot.

The only small downside is that they can feel a little hot after long sessions, because they are not ventilated in any way. But I guess this is the case for all closed headphones.

I use these mainly for checking mixes and audio editing. Sound is fantastic - especially for the price. I don't find them comfortable though - might be my ear shape

Great headphones but a little bit overpriced

The headphones are well made, they look awesome, quality seems high. The sound is great, but overall, I would give them 7/10.

You can find good headphones for less money!

Great Headphones

I use them for my home studio.

I tried as many headphones as I could and this were the best.

Pros: everything

Cons: after a while you need to remove them to let your ears relax. And you have to be aware that the low frequency are more upfront than with others so be careful when mixing and mastering.

Perfect for home studio work

I bought a pair of these to use for studio related work at home and I am really satisfied with the sound they produce and how comfortable they are. Imo, they are even good enough to mix music to some extent. Also, the 3 cables that come together really come in handy in different situations.

Maybe the best headphones?

I use this heaphones to practice and also as monitor headphones. They perform wuite well in both the aspects.

Very flat in the response don't expect huge basses.

The only point that i think it's not amazed is the comfort. It happens that after sevral hours your ears start to feel the pressure but it's the price you have to pay to get good isolation.

Now that's what I call headphones

Amazing.

If you're learning to play and make music, this is your set of headphones.

Not perfectly flat on the bass side, but that's a PRO, not a CON. Unless you're using them for mixing and mastering (get M40X in this case), this makes playing so much more enjoyable. This gets you to play more often, which gets you to sound better :)

Those 3 different cables, the bag they come with, the cups' rotation and foldability are all big pros.

Just 2-3 things I would improve:

- more cushion (after an hour of wearing them my ears hurt a little bit)

- a simple plug in/out for the cables (hard to change cables)

- sturdier design (the plastic feels nice but a bit vulnerable)

Still, not a reason not to buy them.

Awesome, professional and very versatile headphones !

As a music producer and audio engineer, I tend to spend hours every day wearing headphones and these have been my choice since the day I got them.

Short version : very comfortable, good separation, lovely yet balanced and transparent sound, useful cable options, great price.

Long version : these are being used in my studio for all professional audio tasks.

In tracking/recording, their comfort and separation make it easy to use them for hours on end and without almost any spill into the mics.

In mixing and post-production, they are my main tool besides my monitors and I have mixed full productions using only these, when needed. As with all monitoring situations, they do require a bit of learning of their sound and are a bit on the "gentle" side, so make sure you have something else to check the aggressive/sibilant sounds in your mixes.

And for personal use, they come with a short, mini-jack only cable, perfect for running, listening to things on the go etc. In addition, they are quite sleek and good looking, unlike a lot of other studio options :).

Overhyped

I bought these headphones for their superb review all over the internet just to be disapointed.

There is very prominent 10khz peak (which sadly can be found on many other headphones too) that was unbearable and would result very muffled mixes unless compensated greatly.

Midrange sounds like its veiled behind and does not have clarity in it.

Bass there is plenty, and for music listening it sounds good on the low register, but for any critical work, better look elsewhere.

For music listening for someone that is used to peaky highs, these can deliver. For someone who wants balanced sound, nope.

For comfort side, you should be wary that although the cans are otherwise light and does not squeeze, ears are prone to hitting the inner mesh and could cause irritation in longer sessions.

Great

If you are looking for something premium, you can't go wrong with these headphones. Build quality is top of the notch. Audio is very good too, however it depends on the application. I use them to listen to my guitar playing and I have to say that they are overkilling, but sound beautiful.

Reliable, enjoyable headphones

I work as a full time musician, sound engineer and producer of records and radio documentaries. I’ve been using these headphones every day for the past few years, and I love them. They’re really nice for listening to music, studio work and checking mixes. The mid range is balanced, the bass not too heavy and the tops clean. I generally don’t fully mix on these as they’re not totally flat enough for that, but I have had to mix things on the road with them before and have been happy with them. If you just need studio mixing headphones, check out the Sennheiser HD600, but they’re noticeably quieter, more that twice the price and not what I consider everyday headphones. I recommend these to everyone, you wont regret them. They’re sturdy, well built and great all-rounders.

Used for playing and recording a guitar through AXE FX during the night hours. Also used for listening a music from the smartphone. Very good professional sound representation. What really made me happy are the three cables that comes in different lengths and forms so the headphones can be used in any (literally any) situation, whether you are at home studio/room, or on the street listening a music from your smartphone or player. Comfort is not the best, after an hour or so my ears starts to hurt so I have to remove them for a short time. For sure worth of buying, high quality of the sound and versatile.

amazing sound! one of best i have ever tried.

Great phones. They're not top of the range super flat and true sounding, but have a good sound and are very flexible. Use them for tracking (my self or other musicians) and for monitoring live radio shows and sport events.

The flexibility is a love/hate thing. They fold, which can be great, but when it comes to take one side of the ear and than repositioning them again, one-handed, it's a bit difficult and annoying, because of their flexibility. Over all, I recommend them. They blast sound very loud too if needed. the attachable cords are a heaven feature. Very good construction quality, I just hope, next versions come with more aluminum and less plastic for a more robust housing.

Solid studio pick

They may be too tight and after a while my ears hurt. But that is the only flaw I have experienced so far.

i realy don't like how they sound, but i never mixed anything bad with them.

They are Comfy-ish, A bit small for my ears but hey thats my foult ;)

You know, buy'em they work

These are fantastic

Brilliant headphones, these guys have you covered in almost any situation.

Comfortable, stylish and a nice representation, these won't fatigue you or give you an overly coloured reference. They have a variety of cable options which is definitely what makes this very usable, adaptable and repairable.

I've had other headphones with fixed cables and they make it difficult to fit the things in carry cases or in your pocket for that matter. The jack and cables can be too heavy when plugged in putting strain on whatever jack it's getting signal from, eg, phones, laptops, etc.

Not a problem with these though, you need a lighter jack/shorter cable? You got it! Need a longer coiled cable and a 1/4'' jack, piece of cake!

These are my studio headphones, I have 3 pairs for when I'm doing sessions. The price point makes up for any shortcomings in sound, bleed, and durability which I know that there are other designs that have this licked in those respects but for the best overall package and price, these guys are a winner for me

Ear pads crumble

good sound quality for the price, but the only thing is that ear pads last 2 years, they start to crumble with
