Ernie Ball 2215 5-stars Reviews
String Driven Thing...
I suppose there might not be many who remember this old band from the 70's, but the name works well, if you're thinking of restringing...remember your guitar is a "String Driven Thing".
I've always used Ernie Ball strings and as they deliver what I need, I've never felt the urge to try some of the new "Wonderous Strings" (nearly made a Yes song title there) that have appeared over the years.
If you play guitar and you're the only guitarist in the band, these "bad boys" (John Sykes?) give you plenty or range. Light enough at the top for easy fast soloing and deep and dirty at the bottom for all those power chords.
Perfect for downtunings
These Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom are Perfect, if you want to tune down to Drop C or D standart. Like their name Says, the low 3 strings are thicker so they don't start wobbling while the 3 high strings are not too tight for solos. The Quality is also very good on these, they sound good for a very long time and never get rusty! I can highly recommend this product!
Skinny top, Heavy bottom!
The Ernieball EB-2215 is my favorite strings for D-standard and drop c tuning on 24.75 scale guitars! The gauge runs from .010 on the high e-string to .052 on the low e-string and the set is great for heavy rythms and fast leads.
I have never once broken a string since I started using these sets and they keep the brilliance in your tone thru many rehearsals and gigs.
Solid Strings
Great sounding, long lasting set of strings!
Great strings for rock
lets you bend those upper strings real nice while giving you a fatter bass tone.
Really nice for guitars which don't handle heavier tension strings well.
Moreover, the EB manufacturing here is top notch as by all their strings.

Ernie Ball's Best!
I'm a big fan of Ernie Ball Guitar Strings in general! I have used them exclusively over the years throughout playing Guitar. That's why, when I found about these strings, I had to get them!
They're used be a lot of my favourite musicians and I can see why. Having very think strings at the 'bottom' makes power chords sound full and strong and rich while skinny 'top' strings make soloing easier and open chords clearer without reducing the quality of the sound. I have been using these specific strings exclusively since I first bought them off this site! Buy them!
Best of both!
The heavier gauge bottoms sound good for hard crunching while the 10 gauge tops are perfect for solo playing.
