Best guitar strings ever. I use them for E, D and C tuning. Never had an issue, sound amazing, they are durable and have a great lifespan.

Best Set

My favourite set of strings. Starting with the 0.10 string to end to the 0.52 (equivalent to 0.12 sets), it is ideal for heavier riffing but still keeps soloing smooth and easy going. Using them for circa a decade and dont plan on changing.

They're Ernie Balls - what more do you need to know! I usually use the Hybrids, but bought these to string up my HB-35 for slide guitar. They're awesome!

Best strings in my opinion, sound and feel is fanatastic, but they get rusty after 3/4 weeks.

Good for lower tuning

I've bought this set as future alternative for new Fender Jeff Beck Strat, yet factory set needed replacement at once. Heavier gauge of EB 2215 (10-52) pulled the bridge harder, so I had to add full set of tremolo springs on the back. It compensated for pull reasonably good, but the sound was not what I expect from Strat. So I once more time made a change to EB Hybrid Slinky 9-46 and this is it.

Replaced 2215 found its place on my SG tuned to open D - the bottom strings are not so heavy as GHS Boomers 10-60 and that's better for thin neck, it's light to play, have power for bass accents and at the same time whole set has enough tension for occasional bottleneck.

Great strings that work with many different tunings

These are very nice, personally use them on my SG, that switches constantly between Drop D and E Standard. On shorter scale guitars i usually use 10's but these also give the low end a lot of beef.

I love Ernie Ball strings for electric guitar for a great sound persistence.

High quality for the price!

This is hands down the best shot you'll have at getting cheap strings and still have high expectations. The string quality is amazing and last for a long time! I absolutely love the feel i get from these strings and there is absolutely no reason to not try them. I use the 12 gauge strings myself but this is a good place to be if you play in E standard. Credz to the guys at Ernie Ball!

The strings are just Ernie Ball awesome guitar strings with powerfull sound, amzing output and just perfect quality. If you have use Ernie BAll strings before you know that they are amazing if you havent try Ernie Ball strings before try and yiu will never change

E52 all night(mare) long

Thick E string 52.. man, All Nightmare Long sounds exactly how it should with these strings!

I'd recommend to take .09 for higher 3 strings. So solos will be soft and quick, and rythms heavy AF.

Perfect for Lead/Rythm hybrid style playing.

I am the only electric guitarist in my 7 piece funk/soul band & I was searching for strings that would compliment both rhythm & lead playing as I like to keep things dynamic on stage. I certainly found this with these strings. For funky strumming/chord playing, the heavy bottom strings have great body & sound full & rich on my highway one telecaster through a fender twin amplifier. The lighter more manipulatable top strings still blend perfectly (sonically) with the heavy bottoms & you can bend & modulate their tone with your fingers easily so lead playing is isnt hard work. Some points I would make to anyone who is thinking about trying these would be : If your putting them on a strat style guitar or any guitar with a hovering bridge consider the diference in tension they might have as the heavier "bottom" side may pull harder on your bridge so consider compensating this. Also I found on my telecaster that I needed to lower the neck pickup just a fraction on the side postitioned under the heavier bottom strings as they were a little too powerfull coming from my amp (especially the bottom E string). These strings could be just what you were looking for if you have a very customized sound. They are my string of choice for live preformance.

My go-to strings

For some time now I've tried different brands of strings, but in the end, I return to these. The sound is full and clear and they sound alright even when they finally start to oxidize. (I'm really lazy in between gigs). The sustain I get from the thicker strings is amazing.

I use these for my Les Paul. Had to change the nut for the thicker ones to fit, but that was easily done.

Goody goody

The only set of strings I've ever bothered to remember the name for. Found them on a forum while looking up Adam Jones' gear and bought a set for myself. I was really impressed with their longevity. Used them most reliably for Drop D stuff, but depending on your guitar, its setup as well as taste you can go for Drop C. Fret buzz won't really be a problem if you distort the signal :)

Not much to say. Pretty good guitar strings, with a bit of a tendency to break sooner then expected.
