Behringer HA400 Reviews
Works as intended
I use it to multiply output from my behringer mixer to 3 band members and we can go direct in my home studio without making noise (e drums ofc)
I do not really recommend
Has a huge level of its own noise, but for such a price what else to expect!
Only missing one feature
No issues with this amp - one thing to notice is, that you have to be carefull in sending enough signal into the amp, as the amp it self might not be loud enough when recording drums. No issues with a limiter on the signal to ensure the volume. One thing I would like to see is seperate inputs for the 4 amps - or at least two inputs to toggle between - but then again, that would cost more and this is so dirt cheap - but I'd pay a bit more to have that option at least.
Perfect
Perfect, well finished, robust, reliable. Very good choice. There are many knockoffs of the Behringer HA400, but the best is the original. No noise.
Simple and efficient
Use it at home when more ppl need headphones to track their performance while recording. Greatly simplified my live without beaking the bank.
Good product.
Works very well. very small product great for a small studio setup
It's a splitter with volume
It's okay for the price, and to let others listen to the music. The build quality is okay, rugged chassis, plastic knobs. There's some weird compression happening on higher volumes. No problem for musicians when performing, or for others to join in, but not suitable for critical listening!
It is what it is
A must have for small home studio with no live room. The sound quality is good, the device itself is clean, handly and ready to go.
Maybe the only thing i would like to have is a turn on/off switch or button.
Great value for the money
Bought this along with a DT990 pro and it does what it's supposed to do well. Excellent build quality.
If you are looking for an affordable headphone amp with no bells and whistles you can't go wrong with this.
Behringer HA400
Very nice amps, very usefull
brilliant value
good product for home studio no frills it just does the job for not much money
Solid HP Amp for the price
I added this small and well built Headphone Amp to give me a couple more headphones options with my Behringer UMC 1820. The control knobs feel solid and smooth. The box is made of metal with a power adapter. One downside is the power supply is on the front with the HP inputs. I would have liked it to be on the back. However, no real issue. The sound quality and volume are great.
So for something small, well built with a low price, it works.
I bought this to record bands and everyone likes it.
Really good for the price, the gain is great, it can handle a hot input without distorting the sound and everyone is always comfortable with the volume.
It misses a line out or something to connect the sound that is going in to another device without amplifying it (using the headphones out), that's the only con iIcan think of.
Does what it supposed to
I use this product to enable 4 headphones attachment from my mixer. Since various headphones attached (my friends bring their own headphones), and independent gain function is be beneficial.
Pros:
+ Metal case with a box shape and quite small. Very beneficial.
I stick velcro strap on the amp and another velcro on my mixer, so this amp stay attached to the side of my mixer and removable if needed. It doesn't ruin the aesthetic at all and all knobs are accessible.
+ The knob felt heavy to turn, this gives a better adjustment control
+ Sound quality --> as it is
Cons:
- No off switch
I would recommend this headphone amp. It's cheap and of a fair quality.
behringer HA400
distribution of sound on four channels, is not expensive, quite high quality workmanship and serves its purpose
A kickass headphone amp for the price
Works, and works well.
Great Little Mixer
Perfect for my home studio set up. Nothing fancy, it just does the job.
All I needed in one small box.
I haven't used speakers on my PC for ages. But now and then I do need someone else to listen in, which without speakers isn't obvious. Now with this little thing I can have up to 3 extra persons listen in, which is exactly what I needed. And at that price, it's a steal.
It does the job
This stereo headphone amplifier works fine if you need extra outputs for more musicians, but don't expect extra volume just because you've got an extra headphone amp, I bought this headphone amp just in case I needed more headphones out in some situations that could arise. I bought it more as a splitter and not an amplifier. In this case it does the job well.
Solid headphone amp
I usually use the Behringer HA400 for my home studio recordings and occasionally for "quiet" practice.
Maybe it's a little awkward to use because it has both input and output on the back. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if you always have your unit in the same place. But like I said it's a little annoying if you constantly plug your headphones in and out.
On the other side, the control buttons are more than solid and they give very nice resistance.
The structure of the amp it's also more than solid and it has proper weight to it.
The sound quality is like it's supposed to be. And the volume amount that comes out as well.
Overall I'd say that Behringer HA400 is a very good headphone amp, that is worth purchase. I would definitely recommend it.
