Behringer HA400 Reviews
Rugged and useful little headphone amp!
I run a small studio, so it's rare I need more than 2-3 headphone mixes but on occasion I've needed to dub multiple singers at once and being able to feed them all the same mix has proven very handy. I've been using it on and off for years and it's never given me any issues. It's a must have utility for any studio.
Used for multiple applications
This small yet handy device is perfect for everything i've used it for. Most notably Podcast with 2 or more presenters, having the ability to increase individual headphone mixes makes a huge difference to the smoothness of the podcast
Solid product
Does what it's supposed to do at an unbeatable price!
Good price, good quality
We input a single mix into it and split it up to 4 headphones with separate volume for each set. Very happy with it, brings good quality.
Headphone Amplifier
This is a good Headphone Amplifier with various abilities. It does the job very well done. I dont hear much difference between my direct sound interface headphone output and Behringer HA400. Adjustable volume knobs for each channel is a very practical way for monitoring multiple musicians during the recording and playback. A cheap and sturdy solution!
It does what you need it to
Pretty simple but very useful product. Hard to go wrong with it really. Build quality is good and sturdy. It does what it says on the tin lol, splits a headphone sends 4 ways.
Good quality - does exactly as it says
Its a mini stereo headphone amp.
It does exactly as it says, and works well
The only extra feature i'd like to see is if it had a mono input, to send that to both ears on a stereo.
Does the Job!
It does the job perfectly.
Simple small headphone amp
I bought this so that I could provide extra headphone monitors while recording at home. Its a nice piece of equipment. You can take one stereo mix out of your recording interface/mixer and send that mix to four separate headphones.
Not a huge amount of features, each headphone channel has its own volume knob. You cant have seperate mixes for different headphones.
The unit is built well. It has a metal enclosure. The control knobs feel fine, nothing special but should last if it is taken care of.
Well worth buying if you want one output sent to four headphones.
Pretty good unit for the money
Does a pretty good job.
A little lightweight in construction but nonetheless perfectly adequate for my needs.
Very very good. It's one very good product for this money.
Well manufactured, good to share the sound with the rest of the band.
Built well, distorts if pushed
Another product that does everything it should from Behringer. It works really good but after around 85% of the way it starts to distort audibly. Doesn't disturb that much, but I wouldn't mix with my headphone plugged in to this. Perfect for sending a headphone mix while recording
Very handy and small unit
For silent rehearsal or adding extra players to my wired IEM system this unit is a no brainer. I keep it in my rack on standby, and use it when practicing at home. Really good value. only downside for me is that the power connection is a DC jack type, I really like using IEC types wherever I can( never had a problem though).
No EQ just volume.
Hard-worker
I've been using it for the last 2.5 years everyday and still working without any problems. For the price it's an amazing device and the best to get friends for play late night :)
Good unit for this price
This unit do its job. There is no any noise, any crackle or distrosion etc. I can use with 4 studio headphone at the same time (dt770, ath m20x, senheiser, hd201x2). in this price it is ideal for price/performance rate.
stuff is good
This stuff is good in this price, makes what i need and it`is really easy in use. Great for home recording studio.
Good enough for the price
Don't expect too much from this headphone amplifier, if you need a low-budget signal splitter it will do just fine. If you're looking for quality sound, look for a higher-price range headphone amp.
Incredible - I'm ordering a couple more
I thought it would be just a cheap spare to have, but it's really well made and sounds great. The only, very minor, downside to it as with it being so small, it could really do with being stuck down to something or it could have a tendency to move where the cables plugged into it decide they want it to go
Cheap but does it job
I have no problems with it.
It has no features besides individual level knobs, but this exactly what I needed, as well as some good amplification.
I use it with my band in our rehearsal room, because we play through Cubase (I got an e-drum kit).
We needed some more amplification in our headphones, and this amplifier provided that and much more, since it also gave us handling of each output individually.
Really good for its price, I am very pleased! I cannot really say that I have noticed any "drop" in the sound quality output either.
