Good value for money.

Good and cheap set of strings. The feel is not as good as name brands ( a bit scratchy out of the box), but after some time it feels okay. Sound is about what you expect, though it is not as bright as the name brands.

Pros: Price, sound is okay.

Cons: scratchy feeling out of the box.

good bang for the buck

There isn't much to say about these string. I got them out of curiosity. They aren't the greatest out there, but not bad either. They sound good as new, but it goes away in a couple of weeks if you play the guitar on a daily basis. Still, at this price, you can change them weekly and you won't have a big hole in your wallet. These string are definitely underrated, especially if pricing is taken into consideration.

great sounding strings

I bought these strings to try and reduce the ammount that i was spending on other strings.

they have amazing clarity and are a brilliant replacement for any bigger brands that i used to buy.

I find it easier to tune with these strings. they make the ammount of tunnings that i use a lot easier to achieve.

I will definately be buying these strings again, and i would also recommend them to people.

surprisingly good considering th price

Clear sounding good guitar strings, at this price you cant go wrong really :)

So far so good

Bought a few packs to bring my order over the free delivery amount for Ireland (and who can resist the price?).

Well packaged in separate sleeves. Seem a little duller in colour than the D'addarios I'm used to.

Put them on a HB SC550 Les Paul type guitar and so far they are great: sound, tuning stablity, bends, slides all OK. Time will tell how they last but at this price there's nothing to complain about.

Ideal for beginners

I bought this set to replace on a friend's beginner guitar and teach him how to change strings.

Sound-wise, I heard much better from different brands of strings, but for the price these are very good. Definitely recommend them as an emergency kit during gigs when you break one string and need a replacement just for that moment when you don't have time for a full string change.

- I had better when using top brands in terms of durability and sound, but for the price you cannot say they are not worth it... even if it's just to bang and break during practice sessions

No beating around the bush - great strings.

I have been playing guitar for well over 10 years in and out of bands, studios and whatnot, tried many famous brands, bought these at first as a joke, as the drummer was getting a truckload of drumsticks. After I've put the on my tele, I was quite surprised, because they last quite for some time! Some of the big brands don't last even twice as long, and I've been using them for years and years, thinking that cheap strings just can't sound good, because if they would, why would anyone buy the expensive ones? I'm slowly converting all of my friends who play electric/acoustic guitar onto these strings (no matter the gauge), because even if there are strings that last a tad longer, there simply is no way that these aren't cheaper to get and change over and over. Simple packaging, very slinky, the "fresh pack" feel lasts for a VERY reasonable amount of time. Sort of a shocker, as I was used to buying strings way pricier than these ones. Would recommend.

Never buying different strings

Although these strings are nothing fancy (obviously) but they are surprisingly good.

They have a decent time having that "new string ring". They sound great, don't break easily, durable and don't start sounding muddy for a long time.

The only thing about these is they need to "set in" and stretch for a long time.

Good Value for Money

I've experimented with a lot of strings so far and I have to tell these did not disappoint.

I mostly keep going back to Daddario EXLs but as I said I've tried a lot of different brands and types.

I will keep using Daddarios on my main axes but I used these in my Cort M200 which I use only sporadically and I have to say they are surprising given the cost.

The tone is not breathtaking but then again its not crappy either and it stays regular throughout time. No surprises.

They keep tune quite well and this for me is why they are good bang for buck. They also intonate well if you are wondering.

I haven't broken any, and tbh, if you have then check your guitar setup because something is wrong with it. These strings are reliable.

They do tarnish quite badly but if you clean them up properly after use you will be able to keep them going for a decent amount of time.

Super value

Great strings for a magnificent price, no difference to my ears to other brands although these feel different in a strange (but not awful) way.

As good as any other string

These feel the same and sound the same as brand names 5 or 6 times the price. I bought 12 packs for the same money as 1 pack of elixers, these will dull faster but not 12 times as fast and breaking a string isn't as traumatic as it is when a new set is £12

Been using these for years!

I've never understood why people spend a fortune on strings. To me a string is a string!! I've been using these for years, if you want them to last a little longer just remember to apply Fast Fret after each use. I've used much more expensive Elixir strings which are supposed to have a coating that makes them last longer. They're about £12 a set - I found the Harley Benton and Fast Fret combination lasts much longer. When fresh I honestly couldn't tell any difference in sound quality or ease of use. I use Harley Benton bass strings too.

cheap as chips

You get what you pay for and in this case youre not paying much so these are good value. If you dont need a nice clean tone and break strings often then these are the strings for you. They don't sound much good but are grand for kids playing distorted metal and ideal for a trash guitar to be sacrificed at the end of the set.

You get what you get

For the amount of money I paid for these strings, they are quite good. Quality is average. The sound is average too. I highly dislike that oily stuff they was covered out of the box. After month of usage they hold up as much as their much more expensive brothers. If you only need to practice and don't really care about tone, then for EUR 1,5 they are ideal.

How could you go wrong??

A set of strings for the price of a fizzy drink.

May not last as long as a set of elixers, but I've had no breakage issues. Excellent to have in the case even if its just as a spare set.

Not stellar but good value for money

I bought a couple sets for adjusting Floyd Rose setups as those tend to ruins string sets pretty quickly when the string are taken off / put on all the time - they're not stellar but doing their job and are value for their money. They sound OK, don't break quickly - if you're on a budget go for it. If you're looking for premium strings look elsewhere;)

Inexpensive goodness

I use these strings especially at home or during rehearsals.

They don't sound great but considering the price, it is worth a try and you can always use better strings when needed!

I bought these to test the setup on an old guitar, with the intention of putting on something nicer once I was happy with the setup...

I have seen very budget string sets, but since now these are the best for the price. You certainly do not expect the high end strings quality, but the quality/price ratio is the best.

Great strings for everyday use

I bought several packs of those strings.

I like their sound, it's bright and has some balls in the midrange.

What I disliked is their duration: I happened to break the high E during a gig and the high E and the D during another.

Surely this is because I hit very hard with the right hand while I play, but other brands don't have this problem.

So from now on I will use them for home-practice and on the guitars that I don't bring to the live gigs.
